You will:
• Serve as the subject matter expert in Cisco Security Solutions• Provide guidance and assist partners in building solutions within their security practice• Enable partners' pre- and post-sales teams to be successful throughout the sales process, including product Proof of Value• Deliver solution/technology/product consulting, technical and sales support• Translate business requirements into technical solutions• Present and document technical solutions effectively• Facilitate in-depth and high-level technical presentations for partners and customers
Minimum Qualifications• Minimum 5-8 years of technical sales or pre-sales experience• 5+ years of experience in Security specialization with IDS/IPS, AV, Firewall, and Advanced Malware Protection technologies• Experience administering Unix/Linux systems and low-layer IP networking
Preferred Qualifications• Bachelor’s degree in EE/CS or equivalent experience• Strong presentation and interpersonal skills• Successful quota achievement• Proven track record of managing and winning technical and high-value IT security projects• Experience delivering training courses and prior experience with Cisco/Sourcefire or competitive security technologies• Experience with programming languages such as UNIX shell, Perl, or C

In this role as a Security Solutions Engineering Leader, you will work closely with customers, partners, and regional leaders in the Canadian public and private industries, to develop and execute sales strategies that drive growth within each region. As part of the leadership team, you will partner with Security Sales Leadership and demonstrate both technical and business excellence, to meet revenue goals in the region.
Minimum Qualifications
5+ years prior experience in a technical sales or pre-sales engineering role
Familiarity with cyber security technologies across a broad spectrum of capabilities: Firewall (NGFW/IDS/IPS), Content Security (Email, Web, DNS Protection), Endpoint Protection (EPP), Threat Detection and Response (EDR), Access Control, Cloud Native Security, SIEM, or SOAR technologies
A consistent track record of high performance, strong leadership skills, and successful quota achievement
Preferred Qualifications
· 2+ years of experience leading people, operations, program management, and strategy development
Ability to articulate security architecture integrated with other technologies (cloud, networking, datacenter)
Demonstrated experience aligning go to market initiatives to trends in the security industry
BS/BA (EE/CS) or equivalent is highly preferred
Strong executive presence and proven ability to present strategic information to a wide range of audiences
