WHO YOU ARE
Systems Architect with a strong background in Service Provider and one or more of our key technical pillars: IP/MPLS/SR Networks, Optical, Automation & Security. You will partner with our Account Managers and Executives in a pre-sales technical role, promoting and showcasing Cisco solutions. You have industry knowledge and years of technology experience to aid in technical selling, explaining features and benefits to customers and crafting and configuring solutions and products to meet specific customer needs.
You will gain access to the palette of Cisco technologies and applications in a variety of vertical markets. In addition to technological proficiency and the ability for accelerated learning, you know the latest, and you have social, presentation, interpersonal and problem-solving skills that evoke passion and confidence.
REQUIRED SKILLS & ABILITIES:
8+ years of networking and cybersecurity industry-related experience as well as Cisco product experience or relevant experience in key competitor offerings in the technology area.
- Typically requires BS/BA (EE/CS) or equivalent.
- 3+ years of technical pre-sales experience
- Solid experience with SP IP Transport Networks with underlying IP/MPLS or SR-MPLS or SRv6 technologies
- Working knowledge of SP Optical Transport Networks, Automation and Assurance solutions
- Ability to deliver Proof-of-Concepts (POCs) to demonstrate the value of end-to-end solutions
- Participate in preparing tender documents and proposals, RFPs, RFIs.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, listening, and strong presentation skills.
- Ability to work effectively and chip in as a team member.
- Strong analytical skills: ability to assess and resolve a problem with an effective course of action.
It would be Highly Regarded if you have.
- A strong multi-domain ability across Service Provider Infrastructure eco-system
- Cisco Expert Certifications (CCDE / CCIE) or similar is a plus but not required.
- Network Programming skills

- 10+ years of technology consulting experience (preferably in systems, software, data, analytics and AI).
- Good understanding of programming/scripting languages
- Ability to provide detailed and consumable documentation and standard methodologies for deployment around application acceleration, automation/management efficiencies, enterprise, and AI/ML solutions.
- Be able to develop and showcase real world examples of how AI technology can help businesses thrive and solve problems.
- Excellent presentation skills – ability to value-sell and deliver engaging workshops to both technical and non-technical audiences on AI and/or infrastructure topics.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field. Advanced degree in Data Science is a plus.
- Experience with AI relevant infrastructure, including Networking (InfiniBand and RoCE), Storage (FC, IP and scale out) and AI accelerators (GPUs etc).
- In-depth understanding of AI models, including but not limited to GPT, Llama, Resnet or similar.
- Experienced with data storage and management (SQL, NOSQL, Vector, BigQuery etc) and AI/ML frameworks (scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Jupyter, NIMS and NVAIE etc).
- Expertise in training and fine-tuning AI models on premise or in cloud environments.
- Familiarity with containerization (k8 etc).
