Description:
Responsibilities:
  • Automate and standardize deployments and maintenance across multiple infrastructure environments.
  • Maintain Infrastructure as Code automation and expand the coverage of IAC throughout our systems.
  • Design and execute safe maintenance procedures for production systems.
  • Consult with other teams to support their infrastructure and architecture decisions.
  • Participate in incident response, root cause analysis, and postmortems, helping to resolve production issues, detect them earlier, and prevent them from recurring.
  • Experience & Qualities:
  • You've built and maintained systems on public cloud infrastructure (e.g. AWS or GCP) and Kubernetes.
  • You enjoy thinking about system architecture and discussing it with others.
  • You have a track record of driving complex projects to completion.
  • You're a firm believer in IAC, but also understand its limitations.
  • You understand the value of CI and CD and how to make them work for developers.
  • You're not afraid to get hands-on with production systems, but are happiest building tools to manage production for you.
  • You reach for logs, metrics, and queries to understand unexpected system behavior.

The Implementation Architect will be responsible for assessing technical feasibility, identifying risks, designing scalable architectures, proactively mitigating technical and logistical roadblocks and executing on solutions when required. This position requires the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences and to contribute to the development of Cherre's implementation methodologies and best practices.
  • Responsibilities:
  • Lead Technical Solution Design & Implementation: Translate complex client solutions from Solution Architects and FRDs into detailed, actionable technical implementation plans, including architectural design, data flow diagrams, and resource estimation. Develop and optimize complex data ingestion and ETL processes, design data warehouse solutions, and write advanced SQL/NoSQL queries to meet strategic client requirements.
  • Drive End-to-End Feature Ownership & Platform Evolution: Take full ownership of strategic implementation features from development and testing to production deployment and ongoing support. Drive the evolution of Cherre's data platform architecture, technology stack, and development best practices in alignment with client needs and Cherre's roadmap.
  • Strategic Client Engagement & Technical Communication: Engage directly with clients (via calls, workshops) to thoroughly understand their specific use cases, detailed requirements, and operational workflows, asking probing questions to uncover implicit needs. Effectively communicate complex technical concepts, implementation progress, and challenges to both technical and non-technical client audiences and internal stakeholders.
  • Proactive Problem Solving & Risk Management: Identify, analyze, and strategically mitigate critical technical and logistical roadblocks during implementation. Proactively manage risks and dependencies to ensure quality deliverables and successful project outcomes.
  • Leverage AI for Efficiency and Quality: Identify and implement opportunities to leverage AI and automation tools to improve throughput, enhance efficiency, and ensure the consistent quality of deliverables across strategic client implementations.
  • Cross-functional Leadership & Collaboration: Drive cross-functional alignment and secure necessary engineering and data resources for large-scale client implementations, resolving significant inter-team technical dependencies. Collaborate effectively across teams by building strong working relationships with Solution Architects, Project Managers, Client Success Managers, and Engineering.
