Key Responsibilities
  • Build a strong relationship with our customers and become their trusted advisor on how to best leverage their investment
  • Become the main point of contact for technical services delivery
  • Take full ownership of your accounts by providing leadership and ensuring customer’s best interest takes priority
  • Develop a deep understanding of customer’s technical environment, primary pain points, and all business challenges
  • Advise customers by providing technical information, guidance, and support
  • Lead customer projects when customer is implementing new devices or features, upgrade existing environment, or perform health check and optimization work
  • Identify service opportunities for the sales/account team
  • Proactively monitor customer’s environment to prevent major issues and assist support teams on any active problems
  • Provide reports and proactive communication regularly to the customer, sales/account teams, and management
  • Manage multiple projects from different customers and manage your own schedule to meet Check Point’s ATAM requirements
Qualifications
  • Check Point experience required
  • Strong ability to prioritize work and deliver results
  • Strong leadership skills to portray expertise in order to influence teams across the organization to achieve desired customer outcomes
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; the ability to clearly articulate technical issues to both technical and non-technical audiences and to explain the impact in business terms
  • 8+ years of experience with IP based networks, network design, and security products
  • Strong TCP/IP understanding and knowledge of Network Security is preferred
  • Experience with several different operating systems: including Linux and Unix- based
  • Extensive troubleshooting experience required
  • Experience with Check Point products preferred
  • Strong VSX and Provider-1 (MDS) experience preferred
  • Customer oriented and post-sales experience with direct face to face service
  • Experience with providing training is an advantage
  • Up to 25% travel
  • Must be eligible to work in country of residence without sponsorship from an employer now or in the future

  • Business and technical communication skills are important for interfacing with clients, both at the engineer and management level. Working in a close-knit team environment, as well as organizational ability for multi-tasking and flexibility
  • Occasional travel to customer sites in the US and Canada is required as needed.
  • Ensures management of customer expectations and resolution of technical issues in a timely manner.
  • Develop and maintain troubleshooting skills on all Check Point products and technical knowledge in industry standard based technologies
Qualifications
  • 5-8 years of relevant enterprise level networking and Internet Security technology experience.
  • Experience with Check Point products required.
  • Strong understanding of networking and operating system functions of RHEL or other Linux based servers.
  • Experience configuring and troubleshooting VPN technologies.
  • Strong understanding of the OSI model on Layers 1-4.
  • Experience with traffic analyzing tools like Wireshark.
  • Understanding of how common TCP/UDP connections are established based on their protocol.
  • Working knowledge of ARP, VoIP (H.323, SIP), and routing protocols such as OSPF & BGP.
  • Basic programming skills, with the ability to read and develop simple UNIX shell scripts using Bash.
  • Experience providing support to direct customers, resellers, O&M, and field personnel in resolving company product related issues.
  • Must be eligible to work in country of residence without sponsorship from an employer now or in the future.
  • This is a hybrid work from home position that requires two days in the office per week, in locations where a Check Point office is present.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with your customers acting as a trusted advisor who is responsible for the end-to-end technical relationship at the customer - be the CTO of your account!
  • Develop a deep understanding of customer’s technical environment, business objectives, any business challenges or pain points and align those with the right Check Point solution(s).
  • Winning Sales opportunities with Tight collaboration with your sales counterpart in account planning, campaign development and active engagement in progressing sales stages 3 through 5 – Validate, Prove, Proposal = ownership of technical closure
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge on Cybersecurity, industry developments including tackling competitive threats and comparisons in sales opportunities
  • Respond to RFPs/RFIs
  • Ability to present Check Point’s technology vision and value proposition to all levels of audience from executives to technical practitioner
  • Pro-actively drive meetings, exhibit strong communication skills and the ability to influence decisions through effective presentations, product demonstrations, and technical discussions with customers at all levels from Executive (CISO) to practitioner
  • Take full ownership of your accounts by providing thought leadership and perspective while ensuring customer’s best interest takes priority.

What you bring to the table

  • 5+ years of sales/solutions/systems engineering and pre-sales experience
  • Possess strong analytical and problem solving skills

  • Ability to design and articulate an end-to-end security solution for a customer’s environment
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
