You Will:

• Lead, manage, and grow multiple teams of product focused software & data engineers

• Embrace and incubate emerging technology and open-source products across all platforms

• Work to modernize our existing tech stacks and data platforms

• Collaborate with internal teams to find areas of opportunities for automation and machine learning

• Partner with architects, product owners, data professionals, and software & data engineers to drive the implementation of new applications

• Work within and across Agile teams to design, develop, test, implement and support technical solutions across full-stack development tools and technologies

• Lead efforts to deploy new and existing applications into AWS environments and provide operational support for the applications

• Conduct design and code review to ensure compliance with standards

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree

• At least 9 years of experience in software engineering or data engineering

• At least 7 years of people management experience

• At least 3 years of experience with cloud-based data platforms

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s Degree

• 10+ years of experience in Data and Software Engineering

• 5+ years of experience in Data Acquisition, Data Integration, Data Observability, Data Governance Tooling, Data Standardization, Data Modeling, and Data Architecture

• 3+ years of experience with Data Lake Lakehouse, Data Mesh, Data Warehousing, and Data Products, GraphQL

• 3+ years of experience with AWS, Snowflake, and Databricks

• Experience with GenAI/Machine Learning in the context of Data Engineering, Data Preparation for ML/GenAI

The Compliance Advisor Director supports the line of business by:

• Providing input on business regulatory requirements

• Providing guidance on business policies, standards, and procedures

• Developing and leading department training, as appropriate

• Providing compliance advice on complex projects

• Providing guidance on controls over regulatory requirements and line of business monitoring of those controls

• Reviewing business controls and providing guidance on identified risks

Responsibilities:

• Review Complaints generated from lines of business and provide guidance on remediation, escalate and facilitate with subject matter experts

• Identify trends in data and proactively advise on identified external and internal risks

• Maintain subject matter expertise of applicable laws and regulations

• Perform and review control assessments executed by peers for accuracy and adherence to test procedures

• Evaluate Internal Audit, Regulatory Exam, and self-identified issues and events for compliance impacts

• Provide effective challenge and guidance on compliance risks and support risky business areas through various interactions and forum engagements

• Advise lines of business on application of compliance requirements, such as: new products, process development, development of controls and monitoring, remediation/corrective action of compliance breakdowns, and change in law or regulation

• Assist lines of business in the development and maintenance of the Compliance Program, such as how to monitor, report, and train on areas of potential risk

• Support lines of business through expert advice, including change management of processes, procedures, and controls

• Conduct targeted validations and reviews on controls for applicable regulations

• Active involvement with compliance testing and third party compliance

• Assist in capturing, maintaining, and analyzing compliance data, interpreting it to ensure consistency and adequate Compliance Risk Management

• Participate in reporting activities used by Senior Leadership

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree

• Experience in legal, compliance, audit, or relevant experience at a financial institution

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Law (LLB) or Master of Law (LLM) Degree

• Experience in regulatory compliance, reporting, and monitoring

• 15+ years of experience in software engineering

• 5+ years of experience in people management

• 5+ years of experience leading multiple teams within an agile environment • 3+ years of experience managing other managers including talent development,

performance management, team building and succession planning • Demonstrated experience and success pursuing best practices for teams of software engineers

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s Degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering • 13+ years of experience in software development

• 8+ years of experience in Agile practices

• Experience with configuration management and infrastructure automation tools • Experience with Cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP) • Experience leading horizontal DevOps/Developer tooling teams
