About the Role
This position supports the Europe, Middle East & Africa (EMEA) region in aregulatory administrative capacityday-to-day administrative tasks
While part of the Regulatory Affairs organization, this role isnot technical or strategic, but rather centered onroutine administrative supportto help ensure smooth regulatory operations across the region.

New Cardio Graduate Foundation Training Program
Successful candidates will be offered a 12 month fixed term contract, where they will learn and expand experiences in the New Cardio field from our trained Sales and Support Representatives in a live environment. This will give you a first-hand insight into the commercial world of Healthcare outside of a University setting. You will develop many competences while preforming in a professional work situation.
This role will be based around Madrid and will require daily travel throughout the region.
Key Responsibilities:
• Participate in learning and training events to develop product knowledge, clinical and commercial skills.
• Become certified as a subject matter expert on a designated franchise product area.
• Accompany a Field Coach to learn about working in a clinical setting
• Interact with Healthcare professionals and patients in clinical interventions
• Plan and deliver daily interventions with clinicians
• Educate clinicians on a product franchise
• Commercially promote a product franchise
• Contributes to the preparation and production of presentations and reports by using word processing, spreadsheets, and other computer programs.
• Conducts her/himself as a regular full-time member of the staff by accepting and adhering to BSC's rules and regulations and by engaging in professional and personable conduct at all times with staff and customers. The Graduate is also obligated to comply with any confidentiality and professional policies established by Boston Scientific.
Profile Requirements:
• Be a recent Bachelors or Masters graduate (2024/2025) with a Biomedical, Scientific Degree or Nursing qualification covering elements of the Heart/Cardio etc.
• Be fluent in English and Spanish (C1)
• Have planning, time management, strong communication and presentation skills.
• Have completed a placement within a clinical, hospital or similar setting.
• Be computer/technically savvy.
• Have a desire to learn, be coached and develop within a commercial setting.
• Be willing to travel across the Spain or Europe and be away for up to a week at a time.
• Hold a current driving license

YOUR AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY
Support for implantations and follow-up examinations for WATCHMAN ( our new generation left atrial appendage closure (LAAC) device, after careful training in the region mentioned
Primary contact for customers, physicians, and medical staff for technical and product-related questions
Expansion and maintenance of our customer relationships
Product-related support from our sales team and the study department
Close cooperation with sales and customer service to improve service quality
Development of therapy-specific market knowledge in the mentioned region in close cooperation with the specialist departments
Discussion of the clinical study situation & suitable patient indications for atrial appendage closure with medical professionals
YOUR PROFILE
A successfully completed degree in medical technology or a comparable course of study or successfully completed training as a nurse with appropriate professional experience
First relevant professional experience, preferably in the cath lab or operating room
Strong customer and patient orientation as well as willingness to take responsibility
Contact strength and reliability
Spanish language skills at native speaker level as well as good written and spoken English
Flexibility, e.g. in the sense of willingness to travel in the region mentioned
Self-management & willingness to help shape change
Your development and responsibilities will also evolve in:
Grow Watchman therapy awareness through education to fill the patient funnel within assigned accounts, consisting of identifying patient pathways from referring physician, creating pull-through strategies to ensure implantation, identifying opportunities in the process such as operational efficiencies, capacity, and patient pipeline.
Conduct program development and follow-up activities within the community setting and create a pathway for referrals for the implanting account. Build and nurture relationships with the referring physicians, implanting account, implanter, nursing staff and coordinators.
Develop and enhance these relationships through therapy awareness activities, routine customer visits, product demonstrations, educational programs, procedural observation, trade show participation and problem resolution.
Develop and execute a strategic territory business plan within an assigned geography.
Become the expert regarding Atrial Fibrillation disease state, LAAC and anticoagulation market.
Utilize marketing and healthcare solutions resources created to facilitate growth of LAAC awareness.
Work closely with the Sales Management team in evaluating business conditions. Prepare and submit reports to Sales Management by analyzing and compiling data, projections, and other relevant information.
