Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supported by Business Unit Manager (BUM) in strategic accounts / countries, the PM contributes to the development of annual strategic plan by providing the, Business Unit Lead and Marketing with detailed business intelligence for accounts in scope (e.g., market size and potential, market / products trends, business opportunities, competitive landscape, updated clinical and economic stakeholders).
  • Supports BUM in understanding each Country / account’s unmet needs and expectations, to facilitate an country / account strategy and execution of product developments and launches.
  • Support of medical personnel and field staff during procedures after careful training according to the DFU and sells the next case for BSC Endo bariatric and Legacy endoscopy product range.
  • Identifies, manages, and reports to the BUM the sales opportunity deriving from daily interaction with KOLs, CPs and through clinical support; consequently, supporting in clinical selling based on clinical support information provided.
  • In collaboration with Training & Education team, Provides education and training support for external customers and end users and internally for BSC colleagues, as appropriate.
  • Maintains market share at BSC accounts by delivering excellent product in-servicing, evaluations, and continuous procedural education.
  • Attends and actively participates in customer, company and industry sponsored events and meetings, with a strategic and productivity mindset.
  • Leads on sales opportunities in non-strategic accounts and collaborates closely with CPs for sales opportunities in Strategic accounts. Gathers and shares information about next tenders and negotiation opportunities.
  • Develops and implements a proactive plan that involves all supporting functions as relevant with BUM and other account team members, to continually enhance the quality of service to customers.
  • Performs periodic updates with respective Sales Force and Commercial Contracting organisation.


What are we looking for in you:

  • Industry experience within commercial sales of Medical Devices or Medical Technology
  • Experience with endoscopy products is beneficial but not required.
  • Comfortable working in an acute intervention setting and assisting with relevant procedures.
  • Team Player, it’s vital to work on a collaborative environment with several stake holders.
  • Proactive and innovative team member that thrives working autonomously.
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
  • Fluent French language skills, both written and verbal.
  • Fluent English language skills, both written and verbal.
  • Comfortable working in a (80% Market filed presence) and (20% office work) with a passion for travel.
  • A degree qualification within a relevant scientific subject, or nursing or healthcare qualification is beneficial.

YOUR AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY

  • Support for implantations and follow-up examinations for WATCHMAN (WATCHMAN FLX - Left Atrial Appendage Closure Device - Boston Scientific), our new generation left atrial appendage closure (LAAC) device, after careful training in the region mentioned
  • Open new LAAC accounts, train HCP’s . Could be EP’s/ Echo Cardio’s/ Nurses
  • Support educational events and deliver training
  • Primary contact for customers, physicians, and medical staff for technical and product-related questions
  • Expand new relationships with the EP community to grow LAAC market
  • Expansion and maintenance of our customer relationships
  • Product-related support from our sales team and the study department
  • Close cooperation with sales and customer service to improve service quality
  • Development of therapy-specific market knowledge in the mentioned region in close cooperation with the specialist departments
  • Discussion of the clinical study situation & suitable patient indications for atrial appendage closure with medical professionals

YOUR SKILLS PROFILE

  • Biomedical Engineering, Biology or Nursing Degree
  • A successfully completed degree in medical technology or a comparable course of study or successfully completed training as a nurse with appropriate professional experience
  • First relevant professional experience, preferably in the cath lab or operating room
  • Strong customer and patient orientation as well as willingness to take responsibility
  • Contact strength and reliability
  • Excellent English and Arabic spoken and written
  • Flexibility, e.g. in the sense of willingness to travel in the region mentioned
  • Self-management & willingness to help shape change

Your development and responsibilities will also evolve in:

  • Grow Watchman therapy awareness through education to fill the patient funnel within assigned accounts, consisting of identifying patient pathways from referring physician, creating pull-through strategies to ensure implantation, identifying opportunities in the process such as operational efficiencies, capacity, and patient pipeline.
  • Conduct program development and follow-up activities within the community setting and create a pathway for referrals for the implanting account. Build and nurture relationships with the referring physicians, implanting account, implanter, nursing staff and coordinators.
  • Develop and enhance these relationships through therapy awareness activities, routine customer visits, product demonstrations, educational programs, procedural observation, trade show participation and problem resolution.
  • Develop and execute a strategic territory business plan within an assigned geography.
  • Become the expert regarding Atrial Fibrillation disease state, LAAC and anticoagulation market.
  • Utilize marketing and healthcare solutions resources created to facilitate growth of LAAC awareness.
  • Work closely with the Sales Management team in evaluating business conditions. Prepare and submit reports to Sales Management by analyzing and compiling data, projections, and other relevant information.

  • Educate customers on the latest clinical data and best practices in peripheral intervention.

  • Stay up-to-date on new product launches and advancements in the field.

  • Collaborate effectively with internal teams, including marketing, clinical support, and technical support, to ensure seamless customer experience and achieve sales goals.

  • Working in conformance with the Boston Scientific corporate guidelines, processes, and procedures.

Knowledge & Experience:

  • Successfully completed studies in medical science or similar relevant education.

  • 3-4 years of experience as Account Manager, Product Specialist in medical companies.

  • Strong customers orientate.
