We’re looking for a Product Manager to join the Financial Systems division within our FinTech business unit. Role Overview

  • ​​Must be knowledgeable about the larger data ecosystem at Booking and how it relates to the work they do.
  • Responsible for collaborating with peers in related crafts (ie. Data Engineering), anticipating data needs to ensure smooth progress of their individual projects.

Role Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Experience solving real problems using data mining techniques and with statistical rigor and translating business problems into data problems

  • Knowledge and practical experience of Statistical Methods (e.g. Testing, GLM, Inference), Statistical/Machine Learning (e.g. Dimension Reduction, Clustering, Regularisation, Bagged/Boosted methods), Time Series, etc

  • Strong experience of A/B Testing and a range of Experimentation methods

  • Strong experience in data engineering concepts: ETL, data warehousing, data modeling, and data quality management

  • Solid understanding of DBT, Snowflake, Spark, SQL, Python and/or R

  • Solid understanding of data management (schema design, data pipelines, workflows)

  • Strong stakeholder management

  • Strong data visualization skills

  • Strong skills in storytelling with data

  • Proven understanding of the possibilities and limitations of different types of data analysis and/or data science modelling

Role Overview
  • Own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for your product area to ensure alignment with company and department goals

  • Lead a portfolio of initiatives spanning AI-augmented tooling, new product launches, migrations, and product optimizations

  • Define and track KPIs that measure adoption, efficiency gains, and user satisfaction — and be ultimately accountable for outcomes

  • Leverage data analytics and experimentation to inform product decisions, identify trends, and continuously optimize performance

  • Partner with stakeholders across Finance, Engineering, and Operations to understand needs, prioritize features, and manage expectations

  • Translate business challenges into clear product requirements, leveraging AI and automation where appropriate to scale human productivity

  • Communicate progress, risks, and roadmaps effectively to senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams

  • Collaborate with other product leaders across FinTech to align on shared infrastructure, innovation, and execution priorities

Qualifications and Skills
  • Proven track record of shipping large-scale, successful software products

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across all organizational levels

  • Experience with agile prioritization, product discovery, and delivery methodologies

  • Familiarity with software development lifecycles and a solid technical understanding of large-scale systems

  • Demonstrated experience in Finance Operations Tooling

  • Experience in automation, or AI-driven products is a strong plus
