As a Solution Engineer, you will be working directly with Sales and Presales organizations in a techno-commercial role to create strategies, timelines and deliverables that align customers initiatives to the BMC Mainframe Product line.
• Through a consultative approach, partner with sales teams to interpret often complex customer needs and develop innovative solutions delivering both business and technical value.
• Simplify the communication of both technical and business content to a varied audience (technical and non-technical customers).
• For a maximum impact on sales engagements, actively partner with the customer to document their current state, including applicable metrics to assist in defining the correct solution and support in business case creation and build deliverables for use by Sales and other Solution Engineers during the sales cycle.
• Culminating from what is uncovered of the customers business and their goals, deliver compelling presentations, demonstrations, and proof of concepts.
• Enable prospects and customers to understand how BMC can meet their requirements and becoming their trusted advisor on how to resolve their business pains using BMC solutions.
• As every BMC employee, you will be given the opportunity to learn, be included in global projects, challenge yourself and be the innovator when it comes to solving everyday problems.
To ensure you’re set up for success, you will bring the following skillset and experience:

• Demonstrable experience in a presales capacity, or relatable technical-commercial role
• Proven ability to develop a broad awareness of the client's technical architecture and emerging technologies with enough knowledge to determine what is and is not possible
• Subject matter expertise on the technology and business use of one or more Mainframe solutions
• Strong fundamentals in public cloud services such as AWS, GCP, Azure
• Demonstrated artistry with creating and delivering compelling demonstrations

• Language Requirement: English fluency. Cantonese would be a nice to have.
