Responsibilities:

  • Day-to-day P&L, Balance Sheet and Valuation control responsibilities within the EMEA Global Financing & Futures (GFF) BFC team in London

  • Identify and investigate valuation discrepancies and liaise with Front Line Units (FLUs), Risk, Operations and other finance teams to resolve issues.

  • Analyse drivers of P&L and balance sheet movements, providing commentary and insight for management

  • Engagement with the Accounting Policy Group to implement appropriate accounting policies and procedures.

  • Ensure adherence to accounting policies relating to repos, including sale and repurchase accounting, as well as compliance with FIN41 and IFRS netting guidance for financial instruments.

  • Working with the GVG group to ensure ongoing review & enhancement of valuation control methodologies and practices. Ensuring procedure documents are accurate and up to date.

  • Assist in the streamlining and enhancement of all GFF BFC processes and becoming activelyinvolvedwith system development ranging from technical enhancements and new product releases to automation of existing processes.

  • Contribute to governance processes, operational error reporting and support of other internal control process, including SOX.

  • Contribute to audit engagements, addressing queries on valuation, accounting treatment, and finance controls.

  • Provide finance leadership on new product approvals, system implementations, and accounting policy changes affecting repo activity.

Job Description

The successful candidate will engage global clients in the Over-The-Counter (OTC) derivatives space to ensure regulatory compliance. The role requires the analysis and review of bank and client regulatory and legal trading documentation on a daily basis. The role will involve leading new regulatory strategic initiatives and implementation across clients and the Dealer in the region.

Principal Responsibilities
• Understand the current state of legislation, regulation, and guidance with respect to OTC derivative transactions globally including Canada, the US, the EU, the UK, Singapore. This candidate will be responsible for regulations in the region.
• Communicate OTC derivative regulatory requirements to clients and their legal representatives in a business-friendly manner in order to finalize regulatory documentation;
• Prepare and thoroughly review the necessary legal documentation requirements and disclosures to ensure the Dealer's regulatory obligations are met;
• Work with the trading desks to understand client needs and prioritize high value relationships;
• Ensure support is provided to trading desks in a timely manner across several time zones including UK, North America, Europe, and Asia;
• Explain the necessity and significance of OTC derivative regulations to internal and external stakeholders
• Develop a solid understanding of the Bank’s requirements in areas of global regulatory framework, credit and documentation;
• Review and analysis of new regulations impacting the Dealer, participate in working group for new strategic initiatives in regulatory documentation
• Review and analyze the Dealer's new and existing client base to ensure regulatory compliance on a day to day basis;

Job Requirements
• Law degree required
• Solid legal, trading documentation, capital markets experience or related experience.

Position Overview

You will serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory bodies and external auditors regarding TDS HR governance, compliance, and employee relations matters. Additionally, you will partner closely with HR Business Partners, Employee Relations, and the HR Advice COE in Canada, along with HR 1B, Legal, Compliance, Risk, and both internal and external counsel.

You will maintain productive relationships with the enterprise to plan and execute on the global mandate and business critical projects and initiatives. Effective stakeholder management is critical for this role as interaction with senior leaders including partnership with control function heads will be required.

Responsibility

  • Acts as practice leader and/or top level expert within Employee Relations
  • Serves as key contact and the subject matter expert within Employee Relations
  • Oversees programs / services / issues that are highly complex, have wide scope / impact, and require broad business knowledge
  • Investigates and/or oversees the investigation of employee relations cases such as whistleblowing cases, grievances, disciplinary actions and performance management
  • Facilitation of conflict resolution
  • Provide support and guidance in the review of Flexible Working Applications
  • Ensure all employee relations activities comply with employment law and regulations
  • Ensure alignment and adherence to HR policy and any exceptions are within risk appetite

The EMEA team for capital reporting currently consists of over 50 people in Europe and India and we are expanding the team. In addition to our regulatory deliverables, we are involved in various activities such as providing capital adequacy impact analysis to various Front Office groups on new products/transactions, client migrations and other strategic projects with the key stakeholders being GRR EMEA country heads, Griffin data ops, IT, front office traders, Data Management, Change Management.

Responsibilities:

This is a role in EMEA Regulatory Reporting team. The role will deepen your knowledge of financial products and provide a great opportunity to build knowledge of prudential regulation. Responsibilities include:

  • FRTB - Involved in implementation of FRTB rule changes/updates for capital requirements and external reporting scheduled for 2026, including model and system testing and development of the reporting capabilities

  • Preparing and reviewing the UK and EU capital calculations and reporting of 3 prudentially regulated entities. The team carries out all standardised and internal model RWA calculations and reporting across UK, France and Ireland

  • Daily capital calculations/analysis - Review daily RWA calculations to be incorporated in the daily capital adequacy status sent out to senior managers to support management of UK and EU entities

  • Business Partnering – Collaborate with Front Office, market risk, model developers and other groups on capital management and RWA efficiencies

  • Stakeholder interaction - Deal with ad-hoc requests from external regulators and partnering and internal stakeholders such as Risk, Internal Audit and Compliance

  • Issue management – leading the team in identifying and remediating process and other issues impacting the Capital Reporting process

  • System development (Strategic) – As a user help to define data/ calculation/reporting requirements for an in-flight infrastructure project including analysis tools.

  • External Regulatory Reporting and Disclosures – Produce the quarterly COREP and other disclosures including manual adjustments, reconciliations, period on period variance analysis for UK and EU entities, presenting these results to management

What we are looking for:

  • Qualified Accountant, CFA or equivalent or a relevant degree or experience

  • Experience in a prudential regulatory reporting function in an international financial institution

  • Knowledge of the EU and UK regulatory framework, specifically on elements of FTRB market risk and/or CVA

  • Experience in CoRep and Pillar 3 disclosures

  • Understanding of basic Market risk management concepts (e.g., diversification, hedging, payoff profiles, etc.)

Job Title:Regulatory Relations Specialist


Corporate Title:Assistant Vice President

You will work as part of the Global Regulatory Relations (GRR) Strategy & Process Management team supporting the Reg Relations team in EMEA. In addition to providing in-person and virtual support to Bank regulators, this role will provide operational support to exam teams within the region. This role requires close interaction with regulatory agencies, GRR executives, and exam teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Onboarding and offboarding Bank regulators and consultants

  • Granting and revoking system access (HVD/BAC network, internal applications, etc.) and conducting access reviews

  • Managing space requirements and building access when regulators are on-site for meetings or exams

  • Issuing laptops or Chromebooks when necessary, and managing the inventory

  • Serving as a liaison to Global Information Security (GIS), and acting as the main point of contact for any escalations (ex: blocked sites/transmissions that may interfere with timely exam deliverables)

  • Liaising with facilities regarding onsite set up (ergonomic chairs, waste bins, wifi, access to printers)

  • Scheduling UK and France Adhoc & Routine Regulatory meetings (incl. preps and debrief session/ booking meeting rooms)

  • Mailbox & Calendar management - maintaining regulatory routines in GRR Portal

  • Routine, Inventory, and Exam Approvals for EMEA

  • GRR SharePoint Access & Controls / ECB portals access management (can only be aligned to one EU LE)

  • Assisting with GRR Portal clean-up exercises (example, ERH changes for inquiries / exams)

  • EMEA regulatory contact quarterly refresh

  • Processing FCA invoices and tracking submissions YoY (4-6 times a year)

  • FCA Fees & Levies submission – annual collation of data and submission on FCA portal

  • ACR Building access quarterly audits (France, Ireland, UK) / trading floor access audits (UK)

What we are looking for:

  • Prior Regulatory Relations experience or experience interacting with regulators is highly desirable

  • Excellent organizational skills with a keen ability to prioritize daily tasks with project work as well as ad hoc requests

  • Proven verbal and written communication skills and presentation skills.

  • Strong analytical skills.

  • Ability to work under pressure, calmly within tight deadlines and escalate appropriately.

  • Able to develop and maintain good working relationships.

  • Self-starter, motivated and reliable; ability to work well and seamlessly within a team without a continuous high level of guidance.

  • Proficiency in using MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint and WebEx.

Responsibilities:

  • Day-to-day P&L, Balance Sheet and Valuation control responsibilities within the EMEA Global Financing & Futures (GFF) BFC team in London

  • Identify and investigate valuation discrepancies and liaise with Front Line Units (FLUs), Risk, Operations and other finance teams to resolve issues.

  • Analyse drivers of P&L and balance sheet movements, providing commentary and insight for management

  • Engagement with the Accounting Policy Group to implement appropriate accounting policies and procedures.

  • Ensure adherence to accounting policies relating to repos, including sale and repurchase accounting, as well as compliance with FIN41 and IFRS netting guidance for financial instruments.

  • Working with the GVG group to ensure ongoing review & enhancement of valuation control methodologies and practices. Ensuring procedure documents are accurate and up to date.

  • Assist in the streamlining and enhancement of all GFF BFC processes and becoming activelyinvolvedwith system development ranging from technical enhancements and new product releases to automation of existing processes.

  • Contribute to governance processes, operational error reporting and support of other internal control process, including SOX.

  • Contribute to audit engagements, addressing queries on valuation, accounting treatment, and finance controls.

  • Provide finance leadership on new product approvals, system implementations, and accounting policy changes affecting repo activity.

What we are looking for:

  • Preferably Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) or CFA with good working knowledge of accounting concepts.
