Job Title:Financial Analyst - Global Liquidity Management
: Assistant Vice President
The Team:
The Global Liquidity Management (GLM) team is responsible for the timely preparation of liquidity reporting across the organisation with teams based across global locations
The 18 member Chester team has historically been specifically focused on all EMEA based reporting with requirements to regulators in the UK, Ireland and across the EU
This exciting new opportunity to onboard more global focused work will allow for new and exciting work to come into Chester and will complement the existing responsibilities
In GLM, associates have exposure to all the various products in which the bank does business. The team works closely with a number of other areas within the Chief Finance Office division, including Data Management, Line of Business finance as well as the Financial Controller team in order to develop a good working knowledge of the business operations as well as the various financial reporting capabilities and requirements
The team also partners with the global teams to work on the continued enhancement of the available technologies as well as sharing best practices on efficiency and operational excellence
Responsibilities:
Perform reporting, monitoring, and analytics in relation to liquidity submissions and management metrics
Understand liquidity reporting rules and data requirements
Enhance processes to streamline reporting and build out additional analytical capabilities
Perform system testing and understand impacts to end to end liquidity processes
Ensure documentation and reporting controls are up to date, managing operational risk in the process
Work on ad-hoc projects for senior management and/or regulators
What we are looking for:
Good academic profile with a 2:1 degree or equivalent
Excellent Excel skills including data manipulation
Analytical experience & attention to detail
Good understanding of complex financial products
Experience in preparing presentations for senior management and regulators
Experience partnering with various levels of the organization, problem solver
Intellectual curiosity, organized and able to work on multiple tasks with limited supervision
Preferred:
Experience developing, implementing and maintaining reporting in a consistent manner
Experience in Corporate Treasury, ideally with a financial institution
Experience in Global Markets and/or Line of Business Experience
Experience in regulatory reporting

As a Treasury Sales Client Officer (TSCO) a part of the Global Commercial Banking (GCB) Sales team, you will be responsible for managing and growing treasury revenue and profitability across your own portfolio of current & prospective global companies. Being the primary regional sales contact for clients for inbound business booked in EMEA. The book is a large portfolio of clients across different industry segments. You will partner with global and regional support partners across the enterprise to present customised working capital & treasury solutions that meet client objectives within the confines of bank appetite.
To be successful in the role, you must maintain an intense client focus & client partnership to deliver treasury expertise, thought leadership and a broad understanding of bank structure and the operational aspects of Global cash management products and services.
Responsibilities
Role activities and responsibilities may include:
Manage the day-to-day client relationship, developing existing client relationships across the client organisation from treasury, procurement, and account payable (AP) / accounts receivable (AR)
Drive revenue, solutions per relationship (SPR) and profitability growth by identifying new opportunities and supporting clients with both strategic and tactical needs within the region of coverage
Proactively inform & advise clients ofenhancements/improvementsin our capabilities and provide regular market updates
Ensure complete alignment in client selection and growth strategy with our GCB colleagues
Act as GCB client Sales liaison with Credit and Risk, Compliance, Product Management, Client Delivery & Servicing, Implementation, and Operations
Provide client and market feedback to management and other business partners, including for product development and enhancement
Portfolio strategy and planning, actively engage in account planning exercises
Understand client objectives for and effectively match bank resources and capabilities against client requirements to develop business opportunities and identify cross-sell opportunities through account analysis & regular client interaction
Coordinate service reviews in partnership with Servicing and Fulfillment
Ensure full observance of and adherence to applicable compliance and other regulatory requirements and guidelines
Manage pipeline from prospect to mandate and close - across all deal stages for originated deals with regular updates
Manage additional business requests or modifications to existing client structure
Ensure active engagement of deals in implementation and drive revenue ramp up for new business won “mandate to close”
Point of contact for KYC approval and support on refresh where required
Ensure service and fulfilment related requests/queries are directed to the relevant teams accordingly, responding to all client and partner requests in a timely manner, and keeping stakeholders up-to-date on progress
Secure mandates and monitor revenue on closed deals to ensure revenue realisation
Revenue and profitability analysis - manage revenue attrition accordingly & prevent revenue leakage
Maintain pricing for clients (pricing changes, new services) and ensure all products and services are billed accordingly, while managing client escalations and keeping the internal team informed
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experiencewithin a similar role and environmentwith demonstrated results
Ideally Treasury related experience within transactions services or Implementation, Client Service or Product background preferred
Proven business development and relationship management skills with a client set
Demonstrated business acumen, with effective interpersonal and communications skills, able to communicate effectively both written and verbally with ability to be concise with attention to accuracy and detail
