Responsibilities:
As Mexico Credit Regulatory Lead, you will be accountable for the oversight and coordination of BAMSA’s Credit regulatory activities
Oversee production, verification and accuracy of submission for Credit regulatory reports
Perform required attestations of key regulatory routines to sr. regional management
Monitoring and track of regulatory requirements and changes, including impact assessments, and ensure compliance through implementation of controls
Identify process and/or control gaps and implementation of remediation plans
Coordinate with GBAM Lines of Business and the various support groups on cross-functional regulatory tasks / projects
Provide support to local GCIB Mexico Credit Head and LATAM Credit Head, including, but not limited to, strategic planning, issues tracking and leadership of credit regulatory committees
Engage in other credit related activities including strategic projects to support business goals and presentations to senior management
Participation in ad-hoc projects across multiple functions in Latin America
Required Competencies and Skills:
Professional with at least 5 years’ experience of regulatory activities and interaction with both internal and external auditors
Strong English speaker
Proven experience leading local teams to deliver within deadlines
Ability to identify, escalate and discuss issues
Experience in developing and implementing new policies and controls
Analytical thinking and detail oriented
Knowledge in credit fundamentals
Effective interpersonal and collaboration skills with ability to make decisions and resolve issues in a professional and timely manner
Leadership and communication skills, capable of talking to different org levels and in different forums

Job Description:
The Credit Risk Officer will be responsible for credit analysis and investigation of existing and prospective clients and counter parts under direction of senior team members. Requires a full understanding of the organization's credit policies and existing credit arrangements. Requires continued knowledge development of specifics related to the business unit or product being supported, including unique credit arrangements.
Responsibilities
Be an active member of deal teams and engage proactively with relationship and product partners
Analyze clients’ businesses, their financial statements and due diligence materials
Prepare insightful detailed credit papers for new requests and ongoing portfolio monitoring purposes
Perform ongoing monitoring of clients and information flow associated with the portfolio
Supervise and provide developmental oversight to Analysts
Identify and escalate emerging risks
Understand and apply internal policy, procedures and regulatory requirements
Review various legal documents for relevant credit products
Successful candidate must be able to communicate effectively in constructing arguments to support recommendations to seniorofficers.
Credit Officers will also, on occasion, participate in client meetings.
Requirements:
Fluent English (spoken & written)
Minimum 6 years of experience in banking and finance or related field
Sound commercial judgment and strong business acumen
Knowledge of credit products including loans, derivatives, trade finance, cash management
Ability to analyze financial statements, conduct due diligence and prepare credit proposals
Experience analyzing investment and sub-investment grade credit profiles and structures
Proactive - takes initiative and demonstrates ownership
Strong technical skills, including accounting and modeling in Excel
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
Capability to build relationship both within the bank and with clients
Demonstrates intellectual curiosity and is focused on continuous learning and skill building
Ability to work independently and manage multiple complex tasks while delivering high quality results

Responsibilities:
Possess strong / experienced application development and/or application security background; with solid knowledge of SDLC from design, testing, deployment to post-production and the different risk elements associated with each step.
Serves as an Information Security subject matter expert and participates in the development, implementation and maintenance of information security for the line of business (LOB).
Advises LOB management on risk issues related to information security and recommends actions in support of the bank's wider risk management and compliance programs.
Supports internal, external, and regulatory audit-related deliverables and action plans.
Close tracking on Enhanced Remediation Program (ERP) efforts.
Support leading the regional awareness program according to local needs.
Provides key local support on Identity and Access Management end-to-end process, including actively action whenever needed.

Skills:
Information Security & Technology professional with 10+ years’ experience.
5+ years of risk management experience with proven ability to effectively apply risk principles to challenging business situations.
Bachelors and/or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field desired.
Fluent in Spanish and English.
Highly desirable: accredited Information Security certification(s) such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC, CISA.
Deep knowledge on local information and cybersecurity regulatory requirements (e.g. CNBV, Banco de México) and experience on implementation.
Subject matter expertise in application security, vulnerability testing and development of risk management.
Experience evaluating cyber security controls and providing guidance for platform or distributed computing platforms (e.g. Cloud, PaaS).
Knowledge in Windows, Unix, Midrange and Mainframe Platforms with emphasis on security and access controls.
Exceptional executive presentation and communication skills in Spanish and English.
Ability on producing operational, tactical, and executive presentations and reporting, including KRIs.
Excellent influencing and problem resolution skills.
Ability to be comfortable delivering messages across a wide spectrum of individuals having varying degrees of technical understanding.
Strong leadership including soft skills which enable you to work and build relationships in a diverse and multi-cultural environment with global, regional, and local peers, supported LOBs and various levels of management.
Capacity to work on operational, tactical, and executive topics simultaneously, for the country and as a supporter for the LATAM & Canada region.
Organization, high accountability and discipline to work with little supervision.
