  • Equity Derivatives Sales
    • Develop and maintain relationships with institutional clients (asset managers, hedge funds, private banks, corporates).
    • Distribute structured solutions and derivative products tailored to client needs.
    • Collaborate with trading and structuring teams to deliver bespoke strategies.
  • Equity Derivatives Structuring
    • Design and price innovative equity derivative products (flow and exotic).
    • Work closely with trading desks to optimize risk and profitability.
    • Generate trade ideas and back-test strategies for client portfolios.
  • Equity Derivatives Trading
    • Execute and manage risk across one of the equity derivative books (single stock, index, exotics, corporate, convertibles etc.)
    • Provide liquidity and market-making in listed and OTC derivatives.
    • Partner with sales and structuring to ensure seamless execution.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, or related fields.
  • Strong interest for equity derivatives, structured products, and financial markets.
  • Analytical and quantitative skills; proficiency in Excel and some programming experience (Python or other languages) is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

This job within the GPS Sales organization, will support one or more Treasury Sales Officers (TSOs) in managing sales and administrative tasks associated with assigned portfolio’s across our Financial Institutions sector. The successful candidate will be detailed orientated, proactive and have a growth mindset in ensuring we are delivering against key Sales KPI’s. Key responsibilities include supporting all activities from sale through implementation and coordinating the Client Management Process (CMP) by focusing on client acquisition and deepening existing relationships. Job expectations include partnering with product specialists and service partners by making recommendations and creating customized treasury solutions that meet client needs. Fluency in Mandarin, Cantonese and English is essential.

Responsibilities:

  • Assists with coordinating the Client Management Process (CMP), including client planning, client calling efforts, client team meeting preparation, delivery, and follow-up, and revenue and pathway tracking.
  • Conducts industry, client, and prospect research to develop strategies and create proposals and pitchbooks for pre-call planning.
  • Completes price and cost benefit analysis models to develop pricing strategies, which includes working with the Treasury Sales Officer on non-standard pricing.
  • Partners with Product Specialists and support partners to develop strategies to grow revenue and deepen existing relationships.
  • Supports clients through the implementation, client onboarding, and training activities.
  • Ensures the accuracy of sales data including managing sales pathways, call reporting, and profitability reporting.
  • Participates in in-person calling activities and ad-hoc direct sales opportunities with Treasury Sales Officers.

Trading Assistants (TA) give direct support to the Front Office. This support broadly encompasses activities involving:

  • Timely response to internal client queries regarding trades bookings
  • Liaising with other internal departments to ensure timely resolution to feeding and other risk issues
  • Involvement in ad hoc projects for new processes or initiatives
  • Real time coordination and interaction exists between Trader and Trade Assistant through the trade capture, risk validation, other portfolio activity. It is the TA responsibility to ensure applicable TO completeness and accuracy controls are performed in a timely and accurate manner.
  • The Trader/ TA engagements continue through the trade lifecycle with Control Partners. The TA will be responsible as a first point of contact for queries related to Trade bookings, PnL/Risk exceptions, or any ad-hoc requirements of the other teams

Requirements:

We are seeking a dynamic candidate who is quantitative, analytical, proactive, a team player, able to work under pressure and to tight time constraints and has excellent attention to detail. This position requires daily liaison with many different groups across the organization and so, candidates must have a high level of communication and interpersonal skills. The candidate must have good knowledge on Rates derivatives products and demonstrate maturity, sense of urgency and have a good understanding in the derivatives sales and trading flows.
