Responsibilities:

Design engineers in the GPU Group are responsible for the development of next-generation GPU IP for graphics and compute. They are required to have in-depth understanding across all the elements that contribute to the products’ successful delivery, including: low-power design techniques, awareness of the impact of design decisions on system performance, ability to produce designs that are area efficient, and the verification techniques that are employed to ensure high-quality robust designs.

We are looking for dedicated, hard-working engineers who are capable of owning parts of GPU micro-architecture, contributing to all phases of the design flow:

  • The definition and implementation of hardware designs
  • Technically supporting other specialists
  • Writing and reviewing design and verification documentation
  • Planning and tracking design tasks to meet the targets at the planned time
Required Skills and Experience :
  • Hands-on experience using System Verilog, Verilog or VHDL HDL for design
  • Experience in complex designs that achieve performance, area, frequency and power targets
  • Ability to make judgements on functionality, performance, and physical implementation trade-offs
  • Experience of producing specifications and documentation describing complex designs
  • Ability to own all stages of a project from start to completion: concept, specification, implementation and testing, support
“Nice To Have” Skills and Experience :
  • Practical experience of working on GPU/microprocessor designs
  • Knowledge of 3d Graphics - OpenGL, Vulkan, DirectX
  • Working knowledge of SystemVerilog Assertions (SVA)

Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the Arm Learning Paths at https://learn.arm.com as a content creator and technical reviewer
  • Assist in the creation of other technical marketing material such as conference talks, case studies, blogs, videos, and demos
Required Skills and Experience :
  • Bachelors (BS) or Masters (MS/MSc) in Electronics, Electrical, or Computer engineering or equivalent practical experience
  • Familiarity with the Arm architecture and programming experience in Python or C++
  • Creativity and ability to communicate ideas effectively, and self-motivated with strong interpersonal/collaboration skills
  • Familiarly with cloud service providers, including Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
  • Comfortable with software development on Linux

Arm is looking for an engineer with compiler toolchain development experience to join the team that develops instruction set architecture for data processing. You will work closely with computer architects to help in exploring and identifying improvement opportunities both in architecture as well as on how it is deployed/adopted.

Responsibilities:

  • Exploration and development of new CPU architecture: providing feedback on how new architecture fits into Arm’s compiled code ecosystem. Identify weak spots and areas for improvement. Propose new solutions when the existing architecture is not sufficient.
  • Prototyping of new CPU architecture features in experimental static and dynamic compilers. Test the viability of new compiler optimizations, based on new architectural concepts. Find additional opportunities for improvement in compiled code.
  • Assist with deploying new compiler techniques for the Arm architecture: help the transition from new architecture to actual product development. Assist compiler engineers on the implementation of novel concepts. Provide micro-architecture teams with representative workloads showing what code a compiler would generate in production software.

Required Skills and Experience :

  • Bachelors, Masters, or Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science with a strong computer architecture, microarchitecture, performance analysis and debug background
  • Experience of prototyping and evaluating novel architectural features in a research compiler
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, strong initiative and open in engaging and learning new concepts and sharing with collaborators.

“Nice To Have” Skills and Experience :

  • Knowledge of techniques for automatic vectorization

  • You will work as part of the design team to understand and review the SoC architecture and develop the design specifications which meet leading complex power/performance goals.
