What We’re Looking For

  • Strong theoretical background in machine vision , image processing , or software development .
  • Knowledge of optics is a plus.

Nell’ottica di un potenziamento del nostro organico, siamo alla ricerca di d ue risorse da inserire nel ruolo di Montatore Meccanico / Manufacturing Technician (m/f/d) presso la nostra sede produttiva di San Biagio di Callalta.

Le figure selezionate saranno coinvolte in attività di assemblaggio meccanico di moduli ad alta tecnologia destinati alla produzione di microchip.

Principali responsabilità

  • Eseguire operazioni di montaggio e smontaggio meccanico di componenti e moduli High-Tech, seguendo schemi tecnici e istruzioni operative.
  • Gestire l’inventario delle attrezzature e dei materiali necessari per le attività di assemblaggio e manutenzione.
  • Curare l’imballaggio dei materiali assemblati e predisporli per la spedizione.

Requisiti richiesti

  • Diploma tecnico o qualifica professionale in ambito meccanico, meccatronico o affine.
  • Ottima manualità e precisione operativa.
  • Esperienza nell’utilizzo di strumenti da officina (chiavi, cacciaviti, brugole, calibro, micrometro).
  • Capacità di lettura e interpretazione del disegno tecnico meccanico.
  • Comprensione di schemi e manuali tecnici redatti in lingua inglese.
  • Buona padronanza del pacchetto Microsoft Office.

Competenze personali

  • Spiccate capacità relazionali e attitudine al lavoro in team.
  • Autonomia operativa, proattività e orientamento al problem solving.
  • Rigoroso rispetto delle normative in materia di salute e sicurezza sul lavoro.

Condizioni contrattuali

  • Contratto full-time, 40 ore settimanali dal lunedì al venerdì.
  • Potrebbe essere rischiesto in futuro disponibilità a lavorare su turni, qualora richiesto da esigenze produttive.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Facilities (Cleanroom & Lab Operations):

· Lead sourcing strategy and supplier management for:

o Consumables: PPE, smocks, shoe covers, lab equipment, chemicals, and gases

o CapEx & Infrastructure: exhaust systems, abatement equipment, HVAC units, specialty blowers

o Technical Services: hazardous waste disposal, equipment maintenance, and tool installation support

o Semiconductor R&D Tools: capital procurement of metrology and process tools

· Coordinate closely with facilities management, engineering, EH&S, and site operations teams to support cleanroom performance and tool install readiness

· Manage complex, technical RFPs and long-cycle capital contracting efforts

Workplace Facilities (Corporate Office Operations):

· Own category strategy for sourcing and managing:

o Facilities services: janitorial, waste management, landscaping, office maintenance

o Soft services: food services, reception, mailroom, security, and space planning vendors

o Office supplies & equipment, including furniture and breakroom items

· Partner with global workplace leads and site teams to align on standards, service levels, and supplier performance

· Drive cost optimization, supplier consolidation, and contract harmonization across countries

General Responsibilities:

· Act as the strategic procurement partner to key regional stakeholders across Workplace, Technical Operations, Facilities Engineering, and Capital Projects

· Execute regional RFPs and related contracts, develop total cost of ownership models, and negotiate best-in-class agreements

· Monitor and manage supplier performance, SLAs, and compliance with environmental and safety standards

· Collaborate with global category managers to ensure alignment with enterprise-wide sourcing strategies

· Support sustainability initiatives, innovation sourcing, and value creation projects

· Manage and oversee the operationalization / implementation of the contracts and suppliers onboarding etc within our procurement operations teams.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, Supply Chain, or related technical field; Master’s degree preferred

· 7+ years of procurement or category management experience, with a blend of workplace and technical facilities sourcing

· Proven experience supporting semiconductor or high-tech environments strongly preferred

· Strong technical understanding of capex equipment, tool installation, lab operations, and facilities systems

· Knowledge of workplace services and supplier markets across Europe

· Fluent in English; proficiency in Italian is a strong advantage

· Excellent communication, cross-functional collaboration, and stakeholder engagement skills

· Experience leading complex RFPs, negotiating high-value contracts, and managing suppliers across multiple countries

  • Coordinate with Field Service Organization (FSO) and Strategic Business Unit (SBU) partners to gather input for proper disposition of reported issues.
  • Engage with the Customer Quality Team to review and address any escalations reported by customers.
  • Utilize the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool to track field escalations, document Root Cause and Corrective Actions (RCCA) , and ensure timely closure.
  • Document quality-related RCCA and preventive actions in the Applied Materials 8D (Eight Disciplines) database .
  • Provide regular updates and presentations to internal teams on the progress of 8D investigations.
  • Work directly with suppliers to initiate RCCA processes for reported quality issues.
  • Clarify any questions suppliers may have regarding new Best Known Methods (BKMs) for recycle cleaning kits
  • Conduct on-site audits of suppliers to validate the effectiveness of implemented RCCA.
  • Visit customer sites as needed to investigate quality issues, understand root causes, and report progress.
  • Collaborate with engineering / Cross functional teams to resolve issues raised by suppliers.
  • Work with packaging team to address any packaging related issue
  • Coordinate with Supplier Account Managers to facilitate support and resolution from the supplier side.
  • Obtain certification as an Internal Auditor for the Supplier Performance and Capability Assessment (SPACA) program.
  • Audit potential new suppliers that Applied Materials is considering for the Approved Vendor List (AVL) , provide recommendations, and ensure closure of any identified gaps or findings.
  • Take ownership of Failure Analysis (FA) cases and work with engineering and suppliers to implement corrective actions.
  • Partner with engineering and suppliers to resolve quality issues related to W / 6K parts ( Refurbished parts) reportedby customers.
