Leadership & Team Development:

• Disciplinary and functional leadership of a team of 5–6 equipment and maintenance engineers, plus 2–3 cleanroom operators.

• Actively steer the team, manage talent development, and drive performance management.

• Support headcount growth from 3 to 6 engineers and integrate additional cleanroom operators effectively.

Equipment Management:

• Oversee maintenance and lifecycle management ofmanufacturing-relatedequipment within a cleanroom environment.

• Manage equipment assets valued at over €30 million.

• Drive sourcing, evaluation, and implementation of new equipment to meet ramp-up requirements.

• Create and maintain comprehensive equipment databases and correlated processes.

Operational Excellence:

• Ensure adherence to cleanroom standards and best practices, including 5S and floorstock management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.

• Proven experience in equipment engineering and maintenance within a cleanroom or high-tech manufacturing environment.

• Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing technical teams.

• Solid understanding of equipment sourcing, installation, and lifecycle management.

• Excellent organizational and communication skills; ability to manage complex projects and budgets.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with equipment databases and process documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the technical owner of a product line throughout the product lifecycle—from concept to volume production.

• Lead cross-functional design reviews , ensuring alignment between mechanical, electrical, software, and process engineering teams.

• Work closely with the supplier engineering and supply chain teams to evaluate and qualify components, ensuring they meet technical, quality, and cost requirements. Analyze component suitability and integration into the overall system architecture.

• Drive design for manufacturability (DFM) and design for serviceability (DFS) to optimize cost, quality, and uptime.

• Support prototype builds , system integration .

• Support continuous improvement and design enhancements in collaboration with R&D and manufacturing divisions

• Maintain comprehensive technical documentation , including BOMs, CAD models, and engineering change orders (ECOs).

• Stay current with semiconductor industry trends , competitive technologies, and emerging process requirements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or Systems Engineering.

• 3+ years of experience in product development within the semiconductor equipment or high-tech capital equipment industry.

• Strong understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes (e.g., lithography, etch, deposition, metrology).

• Knowledge in CAD tools (e.g., SolidWorks, NX), PLM systems , and FMEA methodologies is an added advantage

• Experience with vacuum systems , robotics , thermal management , or precision motion control is highly desirable.

• Excellent communication and leadership skills with a proven ability to work cross-functionally in a global environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide governance and guidance for construction-related and facility projects across all German sites, ensuring compliance with global standards, consistent planning, and reporting. Act as a strategic advisor rather than direct project execution.
• Monitor Integrated FM rollout, KPI tracking, capital project tracking and forecasting, and overall project governance. Support project excellence and reporting for the entire European region over time.
• Develop and oversee operating and capital budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost optimization. Prepare investment forecasts and support long-term financial planning for facility projects. Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and improvement opportunities.
• Establish and maintain standardized tools, templates, and processes across all sites to enable scalable operations and alignment with global standards.
• Build and lead a PMO team for Northern Europe to drive project excellence and overall management.
• Provide clear and frequent project and financial updates to internal stakeholders on scope, schedule, budget, and risks using professional presentations and reports.

The ideal candidate will have the following:

• Master’s degree in Business Administration (BWL), Finance, Engineering, Architecture, or related fields.
• 5+ years in project management, facilities management, or construction oversight in a technically complex industry.
• Proven experience in multi-project oversight and governance.
• Strong background in financial analysis, budgeting, and investment forecasting.
• Familiarity with CMMS/IWMS systems (e.g., Maximo, TRIRIGA), SAP, and project reporting tools is a plus.
• Expertise in project governance, KPI tracking, and financial forecasting.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Degree in Industrial Engineering or a technical qualification with additional training; experience in mechanical engineering is preferred

• 5+ years’ experience in strategic and operational purchasing of single parts, small series, and project-based procurement

• Solid technical understanding of products and manufacturing processes; ideally with experience in optimizing procurement workflows

• Fluent in German and English , both written and spoken

• Proficient in working with ERP systems

• Solution-oriented and independent working style
