As the role is dynamic and evolves with our ever-growing business environment, the candidate is expected to continuously adapt and learn new skills/ system knowledge. Core responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Project focus Translate business requirements into system setup, as well as propose system/process enhancements to enhance supply chain efficiency or customer experience. Successful candidates need to participate in capital projects from the business requirement stage till implementation. This includes playing a key role in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and advising on these projects.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
- Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience in a logistics-related industry with exposure to logistics systems, including but not limited to shipment tracking, transportation management, service levels management, and business reporting/ Business Intelligence tools. Ability to understand coding language(s) preferred.
- Basic knowledge of SAP or equivalent ERP systems.
- Experience in data analysis tools (e.g., Tableau, SQL, etc.).
- Experience in project management with agile methodology.
- Ability to understand and translate between system and operational requirements.
- Good interpersonal communication skills in both written and oral formats.
- Effective time management, ability to multitask.
- Sense of urgency and persistence in resolving urgent production issues and an insatiable drive to understand root causes of issues; needs to be a creative thinker for solutions related to these issues to pursue enhancements, fixes, and better operating processes.
- Adaptable, flexible, and open-minded to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment that undergoes constant change.
- Not afraid of change, willing to take on new systems, programs, or skills as required by the business; a can-do, positive attitude, and a thirst for personal growth.

Description:
Our organization works with many cross functional teams across the company. We’re looking for someone that can partner with our engineering managers and engineering teams to aid in aligning the cross functional teams on features, schedules, issues, etc... Our typical requests involve either enhancements to existing systems, augment features, or building completely new systems to meet business requirements. In any of these cases, we start off discussions/meetings with our cross functional partners to obtain, negotiate, and align on requirements. As an Engineering Project Manager, you will be key to facilitating/driving these discussions and meetings along with Engineering Managers and/or Engineers to collect/define/align/plan for any initiative. This initial phase will also involve spawning internal discussions with engineering managers, engineers (as required), QA, Infrastructure, and SRE teams to further understand the capability of existing systems, to reach consensus on whether to leverage existing, or to build new. Once it gets past the investigation and planning phase, it's time to work closely with all the stakeholders to define milestones and track them to ensure we are on target in successfully delivering the solution. From this point on, it’s project management 101 to make sure that all the dependent pieces are moving orderly through every step of the way until successful project completion. The engineering/infrastructure teams will look to the engineering project manager to help them prioritize and focus to maximize the level of efforts to meet the commitments in time with highest quality. You will also be required to produce documentation to clarify the scope and direction of the solution to make sure everyone's on the same page.
- At least 2 years of technical program or project management in Infrastructure, IT, SRE, Software Development projects
- Understanding of hosting components such as OS, servers, storage, databases, backup, load balancers, DMZ, networking, VMWare, Linux etc.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to engineers and managers
- Able to scope projects, identify risks, develop mitigation strategies, stakeholder management, data-driven analysis for decisions and facilitating resolutions along with readiness and change adoption.
- Ability to work with globally dispersed project teams
- Willing and able to travel to international manufacturing partners (can be up to 2 weeks at a time)
- Experience working with operations, data centers, suppliers, vendors, manufacturing teams and understands the technicalities associated is a plus.
- Working experience with consumer hardware manufacturing from a program perspective is a plus.
