Description:
The role of the Print & Retail Producer in Marcom is to help bring creative concepts to life across various mediums. In this role, you will be instrumental in producing assets on behalf of Apple with a goal of maintaining the highest visual standards of one of the most beloved and empowering brands through all vehicles by which marketing and advertising appears and is maintained globally.
The Print & Retail Producer provides production expertise, strong project management skills and the ability to maintain schedules and budgets for pre-press and printed materials on various substrates. You will also be responsible for end-to-end production of Apple Retail assets. The range of work includes, but is not limited to: large format graphics, specialty marketing collateral projects, window and in-store graphics, packaging, pre press, CG and/or video assets. THE DAY TO DAY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:- Lead and clearly communicate overall campaign timelines, project deliverables, and resourcing requirements. - Determine specs, estimate and/or competitively bid all print projects, maintain budgets, communicate any obstacles that would require additional funding, and conduct negotiations with suppliers as necessary. - Implement highly complex initiatives and recommend the best course of action on all printed production-related considerations within a fast-paced and sometimes ambiguous environment. - Demonstrate on-press experience and expertise in all aspects of production, attend press checks, bindery/fit checks, and installations as required to set and maintain colour standards, ensuring expected quality throughout the entire production process. - During peak periods domestic travel, often at short notice, will be required.
  • 8+ years of print production experience within a creative agency or print production environment equivalent, leading print projects of all types (litho, large format) from concept through execution.
  • Strong colour analysis skills, demonstrated experience working pre-press in RGB and CMYK, and leading press checks with an eye towards quality and detail.
  • History of developing and leading supplier relationships (paper vendors, print partners, etc.).
  • Excellent project management skills, a quick learner and is highly adaptable at pivoting and shifting gears quickly if needed.
  • In-depth familiarity with large and small format litho and inkjet printing, dye-sublimation, large format finishing techniques (welding/sewing/mounting), and specialty finishing techniques (embossing/foil stamping/spot coatings).
  • Experience handling graphic installation for experiential marketing events or in-store displays is highly desirable.
  • Solid working knowledge of image creation from CGI and photography through retouching approval.
  • Functional ability to review files in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop.
  • Comfortable working within a big picture while staying close to the details, to fulfil daily needs and think holistically about opportunities for efficiency and innovation.
  • Experience articulating creative intent to others and proactively coordinating with partners to bring ideas to life.
  • Works collaboratively in partnership with others, often with limited direction.
  • Maintains professional demeanour under high pressure and in situations of ambiguity.

We are seeking an experienced Integrated Project Manager to play a pivotal role in bringing ideas to life. In this role, you will coordinate the development of diverse communications from initial concept to final delivery. This includes work originating from our ANZ creative team, as well as adapting global campaigns for local audiences. You will collaborate closely with internal and agency partners, supporting the strategic, creative, and production goals of our brand and functional teams. You will ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of creative excellence.
As Integrated Project Manager, you will be driving multiple creative projects, from initial concept to final delivery. This includes managing projects across film, content, print, digital and social media, supporting creative excellence throughout ideation, presentation, and production. Collaboration is key, as you'll work closely with local and global creative teams to produce impactful marketing materials. You will also partner with the ANZ Operations Manager to forecast staffing needs, secure resources and contribute to identifying new freelance creative talent. You will also be overseeing workflow for all creative and localisation projects.The role also requires a strong focus on project management and proactive problem-solving. You will maintain a comprehensive project view, develop detailed schedules, proactively identify and mitigate challenges, and ensure timely delivery. You'll be expected to anticipate potential challenges and opportunities, drive pre-production alignment to ensure production plans align with timelines and budgets, share standard methodologies, champion innovative ways, provide frequent communication and lead team status meetings.
  • 8+ years of integrated project management experience within a creative agency, in-house agency, or production company.

  • Experience in the cross-functional delivery of creative initiatives.
  • Excellent project and time management skills, with the ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing priorities.
