Sr Supplier Quality Engineer Electrical Project Kuiper jobs at Amazon

The Kuiper Project supplier quality engineer (electrical) plays a critical role in ensuring the highest standards of performance in the tech industry. Working at Amazon, this position is one of the most important sources of assurance that the quality of services and products from Amazon are of the highest caliber. As supplier quality engineer, you are expected to use a range of specialized skills to carefully and meticulously review all of the components used in the Kuiper Project. You will work collaboratively with Kuiper teams and suppliers to ensure that technologies, components, materials, and services meet quality standards and are properly implemented in the project. Throughout the project, you will be responsible for daily cycle audits and conducting on-site inspections to assess supplier performance. You will also review quality reviews of suppliers and their products, highlight any areas of non-compliance, provide remedial instructions and recommendations, and ensure corrective and preventive measures to prevent any issues recurring. In addition, your role will involve actively promoting supplier quality system improvements and providing advice and support to the supplier and Amazon teams. You will also be required to run workshops and other activities with the supplier and Amazon teams to help them understand and implement quality improvements.
