The successful candidate will be operationally responsible for several of Amazon.com's Data Centers during the day shift. Some high-level responsibilities include:
- Prioritize and assign trouble tickets to data center technicians and operators
- Routinely review ticket queue for large events and address accordingly
- Coordinate change management resources
- Guide, train and educate data staff on the best practices related to all service owner issues
- Manage and deliver mid-size projects
- Recommend, document, and oversee policies and procedures to meet industry best practices and to meet required SLAs- Provide weekly report to the data center manager
- Maintain the on-call schedule coordinating absence and vacations
- Recruit and train data technicians to ensure appropriate staffing levels
- Host weekly staff meetings
- Write and deliver performance reviews for staffA day in the life

- 10+ years of leading complex, large-scale, IT, technical or engineering programs experience

We are seeking a talented and motivated Manufacturing Engineering Lead with a proven track record of implementing best in class processes within a complex manufacturing environment. This role will report to the Director of Engineering, and is an integral member of the Machine Learning Acceleration server development team. You will work closely with the hardware design and test engineers to implement, test and improve New Product assembly processes on the most advanced machine learning servers.
You will participate in the early phase of manufacturing line development for our next generation servers and racks to improve our manufacturing flows informing system design, manufacturing, and fleet operations.
You will manage early lifecycle changes, identify initial product quality improvements, and drive to technical root cause in supplier quality activities. The candidate will have experience in design or manufacturing and is capable of making wide-ranging business decisions on behalf of the organization.

The Role
The Senior Post Silicon Lab Engineer will own the lab and related lab requirements for the Kuiper MODEM Post Silicon team. In this role you will be responsible for designing, building and maintaining the lab, ensure safety standards are met, support Bring-up and validation board reworks, manage inventory of secure SOC, Boards and lab equipment, work with vendors to ensure instrument calibration and repair. In addition, you will support setting up test benches and own validation execution.
Key Job Responsibilities
• Bring-Up and support debug of validation boards arriving from Assembly house. Own the secure storage, distribution and inventory management of these boards.
• Work with Engineers and vendors, to identify and purchase required bench top instruments. Ensure periodic calibration and repairs on the same.
• Drive future expansion needs. Work closely with Engineers across functions, identify existing gaps, future requirements and design solutions appropriately.
• Support Post Silicon Engineers with Board modifications, Board debugs, Design of Experiment and remote debugs.
• Ensure the lab meets safety protocols and compliance. Enforce trainings to reduce lab accidents. Document and report accidents in the Post Silicon lab.
• Assist with Test Bench setups, Test execution and data analysis.
• Will be required to lift and move equipment up to 50 poundsExport Control Requirement:
- Bachelor's degree or above in a technical or engineering related field, such as Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, etc.
