• As a Solutions Architect, you will work directly with customers to accelerate their projects and recommend best-practice architectures in line with their long-term business outcomes.
• You operate as a trusted advisor for customers. The best interests of the customer will shape the guidance you provide. You work backwards from their priorities and find inventive ways to add value with solutions utilizing AWS and its Partners’ technology.
• You capture and share the voice of the customer to influence the roadmap of new features and services for AWS. You use your customer understanding to participate the creation or updates of technical content and reference architectures (e.g. white papers, code samples, blog posts).
• Evangelize and educate about AWS technology (e.g. workshops, user groups, meetups, public speaking, online videos or conferences).A day in the life
The Solutions Architect team at AWS is responsible for helping customers successfully implement cloud technologies. In a typical week you will meet multiple customers and you will collaborate with them on designing and operating well-architected solutions. You will earn their trust and show them the art of the possible, educating them around the capabilities of AWS. Partnering with internal teams and experts, leveraging a deep knowledge of our tools and products, you’ll craft highly-scalable, flexible, and resilient cloud architectures that address our customers’ business problems. - Experience with one of the following programming languages: Python, Ruby, Node.js, C#, or C++
- Experience with two or more of the following: networking fundamentals, security, storage or databases (relational or NoSQL), operating systems (Unix, Linux, or Windows)

- Experience implementing a cloud-based technology solution

- 5+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience
- 5+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture and networking experience
- Knowledge of cloud architecture
- Strong business acumen with the ability to identify the value cloud computing brings to customers.
- Excellent technical proficiency, capable of developing practical cloud migration strategies and solutions, and delving into technical details.

- Extensive experience in technical architecture design and optimization, as well as enterprise customer service (preferably in the financial service industry).
- Familiarity with two or more common technology domains, such as virtualization, storage, databases, networking, security, big data, machine learning, containers, DevOps, CI/CD, microservices architecture.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language: Java, C, C++, C#, Python, Node.js, Golang, Rust, etc.
- Experience in building workloads related to the financial industry, such as securities trading systems, quantitative factor mining, quantitative backtesting, payment gateways.
- Background in software development is preferred.
- Familiarity with common ISVs in the financial service industry is preferred.
- Financial industry certifications (such as CFA, FRM) are preferred.

• Evangelize AWS technology in China market to help ISV jointly build solutions to address customers’ demand on cloud. Be the interface from AWS to lead and coordinate the initiative with partners.
• Apply AWS APN and partner program to support ISVs on co-build, co-marketing, co-sell with AWS,
• Build and lead to work with AWS local team and HQ organization to develop new partner collaboration model in dynamic industry/technical verticals, and help partners go global market.
