The Role:
As a Senior Software Development Engineer - Systems, you will engage with an experienced cross-disciplinary staff to conceive, design, and bring to market innovative developer tools. You will work closely with an internal interdisciplinary team and outside partners to drive key aspects of product definition, execution, and test. You must be responsive, flexible, and able to succeed within an open collaborative peer environment.The ideal candidate has current and extensive experience developing and building Android systems and applications. The candidate understands what the limitations of the platform are and can design and implement additional services or help optimize existing ones to meet the product requirements. The ideal candidate:- Has in-depth expertise working with HDMI, CEC, ARC/eARC, etc
- Experience on TIF and Android TV related work
- Knows what is important when releasing software to developers and has been through the process from start to finish
- Is comfortable with proactive outward communication and technical leadership and never shies away from a challenge

- 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience
- 5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team

- 5+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

Working as part of our Specialist Go-To-Market (GTM) organization, you'll partner with a Specialist BD to develop and execute strategies that drive AWS adoption in the Database space. You'll contribute your technical expertise as an advisor to startups, work strategically with internal teams, and help lead our Database Community of Practice. Together with your Database BD, you'll create and execute sales plays and scaling motions that address the unique needs of startup customers and enable both customers and our Solution Architect community. Your role will involve designing and leading technical workshops focused on Database-specific use cases, creating proof-of-concept programs to demonstrate the value of AWS Database services, crafting industry-specific solutions that showcase AWS capabilities in Database and developing migration accelerators for startups.Key job responsibilities
* Serve as the primary technical expert for AWS Database technologies, advising startup customers on architecting and implementing scalable, secure, and cost-effective solutions
* Partner with Account teams to support priority opportunities and customers

As an SoC Manager, you will lead a team responsible for executing and delivering complex IPs and silicon that ship in the Blink and Ring camera products. Your team will be responsible for front-end digital design and verification of complex IP and SoC integration.

- BSEE with 10+ years experience in hardware board and systems development, must have taken products from concept to mass production. Recent 5+ years experience with Ethernet switching fabrics, Ethernet PHY and SerDes interfaces, embedded CPU subsytems, DDR2/DDR3/DDR4 memory design, network processors, I2C, USB
- Experience with high-speed PCB design. Experience troubleshooting with oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and specialized test equipment such as PCI analyzers and in-circuit-emulators

- CPLD/FPGA experience in the areas of advanced HW control/monitoring/logging
