· Primary responsibilities include analysis and validation of the input and output streams of the tax data flows, checking reconciliations of the tax data as it relates to online and offline transactions, as well as providing support to the end users of the system.
· Additional tasks include collaboration with our business partners on researching and analyzing questions and concerns with the tax software, as well as the configuration and calculations within.
· Daily tasks require working with customers and developers on technical operations. Longer term tasks will include research, planning and design discussions with our internal customers.
· This role also requires troubleshooting and support for any interface errors between systems.
· You participate in the hands on design and development of technology solutions. You bring data to the table that can help improve or reinvent the business process.
· You anticipate bottlenecks, manage competing priorities, evaluate and make tradeoff decisions, balance the business needs versus technical constraints and maximize business benefit.
· In this role, operational excellence is your priority. You track down the true root cause of issues and take action to correct the errors. You have a constant eye for improvement.
· You focus heavily on cross-functional communication to ensure key decisions, risks, issues, and solution status are made clear to all.
· You will push the limits of third-party software through innovative design and delivery
· You are prompt, professional, articulate, and persistent in your interactions with customers and our partners.
- Bachelor's degree
- Tax software experience is a must.
- Experience with Oracle database and middleware technologies preferred
- Experience with any Brazilian tax software
- Experience with Synchro preferred
- English work proficiency
- 4+ years of experience in developing and supporting software applications·
- 4+ years of experience with data analysis and SQL
- 4+ years with reporting systems and business applications such as MS Excel, MS Visio, MS Project and MS SQL
- Proven ability to troubleshoot and identify the root cause of issues.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field or equivalent combination of education and practical experience
