Key job responsibilities
In your role as an AWS Solutions Architect, you'll take ownership of the technical relationship with customers, providing expert recommendations on solution design, migration strategies, security, and best-practice architectures. Your influence will extend beyond customer interactions, as you'll also act as an internal advocate, driving continuous improvements to the AWS platform based on customer needs and feedback. You'll contribute to the AWS knowledge base by creating and sharing best practices, technical content, and new reference architectures. Additionally, you'll play a crucial role in educating and evangelizing about AWS technology through various channels, helping to expand our reach and influence in the industry.

- Experience with AWS technologies and cloud native architectures
- Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud
- Experience working in a customer-facing role
- Cloud Technology Certifications (e.g. AWS Solutions Architect Associate or Professional) or other industry certifications
- Business level German language skills is a plus

* Develop trusting relationship with customers, understand their business needs / drivers, review service disruptions, provide monthly / quarterly metrics and assist with pre-launch planning
* Utilize technical skills to investigate difficult support cases and technical challenges
* Understand operational parameters and troubleshooting process for customer issues and escalations
* Advocate for customer needs to overcome adoption blockers and drive new feature development
* Improve customer capabilities by running workshops, operations and architecture reviews
* Ensure AWS environments remain operationally healthy whilst reducing costs and recommending efficiencies to mitigate risks in customer operations plans and product adoption
* Work with customers across all levels from developers through to C-Suite executives
* Collaborate across multiple functions within AWS, such as: Solutions Architects, Business Developers, Professional Services Consultants and Sales Account ManagersAbout the team

* Experience with operational parameters and troubleshooting for two of the following technical domains: Compute/ Storage/ Networking/ CDN/ Databases/ DevOps/ Big Data and Analytics/ Security/ Applications Development in a distributed systems environment
* Working with engineering/ technology teams for large customers or a major segment of a large entity in the Public Sector, Enterprise or Start-up industry
* Fluency in both written and spoken German
