Key job responsibilities
- Lead Material Handling Equipment automation projects
- Update equipment specifications based on various factors; labor, cost, safety, performance, etc. working with Process Engineering and Operations partners- Monitor performance of the installed equipment in Australia by measuring success criteria for meeting metrics for safety, productivity and quality
- Support lessons learnt program for to understand improvements needed for specifications iterations

- Bachelor's degree
- 4+ years of industrial engineer, operations engineer, manufacturing engineer, or project engineer in a manufacturing environment experience
- Experience working with Material handling equipment (MHE)
- Knowledge of AutoCAD, VBA, and SQL at the intermediate level

- Knowledge of automated material handling systems, packaging technologies and storage solutions
- Experience working with and managing third party vendors

As a Senior Applied Scientist in our international Machine Learning team, you will spearhead the design and development of advanced generative models (image, video, and 3D) in computer vision that will enhance shopping experience of our customers. You will partner directly with senior stakeholders to better understand business problems, dissect, design and sometimes build prototypes.
