  • Manage the US GAAP monthly revenue accounting close for the Systems and Services segment which includes our iTero digital scanning business and exocad software business within the Revenue Accounting and Global Accounting corporate timelines
  • Directly manage and develop a team of Revenue Accountants located in the US and internationally
  • Hands-on involvement in the close processes, including approving journal entries, reviewing manual accruals, account reconciliations, fluctuation analyses, and reserve adjustments
  • Key participant in monthly and quarterly management reporting process including preparing and presenting results
  • Support earnings and external reporting requirements
  • Support SSP and deferred revenue estimates process for both lines of business including memo preparation
  • Work with external and internal auditors to provide the required support for the internal and external quarterly reviews, SEC reporting, and annual audit
  • Support Commercial Finance, Marketing, and Legal team for initial revenue accounting assessment for new sales contracts or go to market programs.
  • Collaborate closely with Technical Revenue Accounting team on accounting assessments
  • Foster proactive working relationships with cross-functional organizations including Commercial Finance, Operations, Marketing, IT, and FP&A
  • Identify and implement business process improvements for the System and Services revenue accounting cycle

What we're looking for
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
  • 12+ years of progressive experience - preferably a mix of Big 4 accounting firm experience (preferably at the Manager level) and public companies with multiple, complex revenue streams in a high-growth environment; multi-national experience
  • Licensed CPA (active preferred)
  • Experience and in-depth knowledge of revenue accounting related to multiple-element arrangements, promotions, and volume discounts under ASC 606
  • Proven ability for technical accounting research and documentation of positions
  • Excellent verbal, written, and listening skills as well as ability to effectively use accounting knowledge to collaborate, guide and interact professionally with a wide range of personnel at various levels within the organization to drive sound business decisions
  • Exceptional organizational skills, project management experience to include management of large-scale/global initiatives
  • Experience building and developing staff
  • Experience with larger ERP systems (SAP) and related data across a global business

  • Serve as thought leader internally for US Orthodontists
