As Associate Cloud Support Engineer, you will be responsible for end-to-end resolution of complex technical issues. You will proactively review and mitigate risk. You will also minimize any potential service disruptions for some of the top companies in APJ.

As a Associate Cloud Support Engineer , you will be responsible for:

  • Working unassisted with the customers managing their incidents and escalations to closure
  • Collaborating with customers and internal cross-functional teams to identify, diagnose, resolve and report on technical issues
  • Contributing to the strategic direction of the support team to develop and implement best practices
  • Partnering with internal Sales, Services, Engineering and Support teams to ensure customer success on the Akamai platform

Do what you love

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have 6 months -2 years of experience and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering or relevant fields
  • Have experience with working on web application issues (HTML, javascript, JSP)
  • Be well versed in how the internet works, it's underlying protocols with understanding of DNS, HTTP/S, TCP.
  • Have knowledge on technologies in cloud infrastructure eg. cloud compute, object storage, Load balance, Firewall
  • Be experienced in providing technical solutions and professional support for B2B customers
  • Communicate in fluent English, the role will be required to support English speaking countries in APJ

As an Account Manager..Cloud, you will be responsible for:

  • Engaging with assigned customers, delivering valuable, proactive interactions and guidance appropriate to the customers' needs and goals
  • Delivering regular reviews of assigned customer performance to management
  • Managing opportunities through pipeline stages and forecast growth to the compute leadership
  • Owning relationships within the account to drive growth of the platform by adding services and new workloads
  • Identifying new features and platform changes that are required for expansion
  • Working with partners, both Systems Integrators (SI) and ISV to increase compute usage in your territory accounts
  • Driving long term commitments in exchange for usage growth

Do what you love

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have 2-5 years of relevant experience (varies on role) and a Bachelor's degree or its equivalent
  • Have demonstrated experience with compute products and services
  • Be passionate about building productive relationships with customers
