Key Responsibilities:

  • Deepen consumer connection: Obtain and deliver consumer insights to make the appropriate choice on product and marketplace management.
  • Merchandising strategy & planning: Deliver seasonal merchandising plan & strategy, including range architecture, segmentation, lifecycle, pricing, product rangeand store layoutfrom both global and local creation and direction for assortment.

  • Monitor and analyze market trends and competitor activities and derive conclusions for the growth and optimization of adidas Digital sales, identifying gaps, opportunities and risk within EM e-com business and the digital marketplace landscape.

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

  • Degree with focus in Business, Finance, Economics, Math or related field preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum 5 years of experience working in eCommerce Business planning, Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Demand forecasting or equivalent experience
  • Experience in e-commerce environment preferred
  • Experience in data handling and analytics platforms, especially in their integration or deriving insights requiring multiple sources
  • Industry: Ideally in apparel/fashion/shoes or internet
  • Experience in leading cross-geography teams

Planning

  • Provides input to and participates in the design of adidas group mid-term strategies in relation to regional retail expansion for both FRS and Own Retail in East & South.
  • Develops with Retail Expansion Director an East & South Retail Expansion Plan which reflects distribution, marketing and geographic strategies
  • Proactively seek right location of new POS opportunities by building strong real estate network in the region and negotiate with relevant parties
  • Consistently improving the location and space of existing shops inside department store and shopping mall by building up strong network with management of these channels
  • Regularly updates the East & South retail expansion plan

Management

  • Manages the yearly & quarterly retail expansion plan being well implemented
  • Manages department stores and shopping malls on systematic way
  • Reports to upper management on market intelligence
  • Communicates regional POS development to Head of Retail Expansion on regular basis,
  • Manages the retail expansion team to implement the business plan with high quality for the specific geography

Purpose and Relevance for the organization:

This role is responsible for managing the AKA Demand Planning process for Central AKA’s.

You are responsible for creating the Alliance Key Account Demand Plan and Integrated Business Plan (IBP) for your AKA responsibility. The Demand Plan is the basis for Purchasing and significantly influences the inventory management/stock turn. The IBP provides the Europe financial forecasting status.

Demand Planning

  • Responsible for overseeing the Rolling Demand Plan (RDP) for defined Central AKA’s, on article level based on AKA Sales and Marketing input
    • Ensure pre-order business
    • Balance the product availability for the re-order period
    • Monthly distribution of the RDP reflecting account demand
    • Allocations are facilitated
  • Ensure the observance of local and global timelines and deadlines
  • Drive the focus on forecast accuracy with cross-function departments (Marketing, AKA Sales, Product Supply and Market Operations & Optimization) and ensure the implications of inaccuracy are understood
  • Observe accounts forecast changes, opportunities and risks
  • Work with the Product Supply team to ensure the AKA demand is clear and ensure the correct level of inventory is secured
  • Support the orderbook in-take processes and fulfilment to ensure the best possible availability

IBP

  • Lead the IBP process for responsible AKA ensuring timelines are adhered to
  • Control the monthly cycle and influence the teams where necessary to produce a considered forecast with required commentary, including risk & opps
  • Bridge the IBP and RDP in a way that is reconciled and fully explained
  • Ensure input the IBP submission is accurate and delivered on-time
