The Merchandising Systems and Tools Manager is responsible for delivering speed through data quality and readiness through data automation, tool enhancements, and systems to support NAM product merchandising. ​It is the responsibility of the Systems Manager to have a thorough understanding of the digital tools, business processes, and how to leverage and enhance the systems to meet business requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the launch and adoption plans for the North America Market to shift to a new, global business intelligence platform for merchandising.
  • Analyze data product needs for the North America Market merchandisers.
  • Support platform users and lead the evolution of data products to serve North America Market users
  • Advocate for NAM's requirements to be delivered with global platforms.
  • Implement a structured change management approach to support the education of individuals and teams to deliver a holistic understanding of the new tools and the product-led organization. Ensure a smooth transition and roll-out of solutions.
  • Communication to the project leaders and stakeholders at key milestones to ensure teams are mobilized and informed.
  • Lead or be part of all projects that have a merchandising data impact or could benefit from merchandising data input.
  • Standardize and educate on how systems and product data should be used, including guiding users toward self-service approaches for their data needs.
  • Manage relationship with external vendors to deliver system enhancements on time and within budget constraints and to ensure quality control of releases.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Program Management or Product Management experience a plus
  • Experience with modern data and business intelligence platforms such as Databricks and Power BI strongly preferred
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Access, Excel Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint) and familiarity with data visualization and tools
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to work successfully both independently and cross-functionallywith system users and stakeholders and translate their business needs to IT and software developers.
  • Either a merchandising background with an aptitude for digital tools or an IT background with evidence of merchandising acumen
  • Self-starter: learn new complex tools and processes both quickly and resourcefully

Requisite Education and Experience/ Minimum Qualification

• Receive incoming shipments and compare items to work orders provided by supervisor
