Support the Global Customs team to ensure an effective and controlled customs operation which supports the business goals while providing guidance on customs related requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support Global and Regional Customs initiatives and operational projects, as defined by Manager Global Customs.
• Support ongoing development of Customs processes, procedures, and analytics that will contribute to the ongoing customs operations and ensure legal requirements with Customs authorities are met.
• Deliver essential business analytics, executive summaries, and agreed action plans related to Global Customs initiatives for management, as required.
• Support customs import, export and duty optimization analysis and reporting within Global and Market customs teams and brokers i.e., periodic reporting, KPI tracking, compliance reporting dashboards, etc.
• Support ad hoc projects.

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

• A degree (or equivalent experience) from an accredited college or university with emphasis on the areas of business, economics, logistics, supply chain, information system or operations
• +2 years’ experience in a customs/logistics department in an international company would be desirable.
• Fluency in English, Written and Spoken

Key Responsibilities:

• Align with the local Sales Organization in regard to account specific marketing plans and their execution

• Develop and steer implementation of integrated marketing packages for account specific needs. through brand marketing activities

• Present account marketing plans to all key players internally and externally

• Manage the development of additional account specific sell-in tools (Account Marketing Toolbox) when needed

• Monitor marketing investments and coordinates sales working budget for the sales channels and ensure healthy ROI ratio

• Key contact person for Retail / eCom activation to ensure alignment and best usage of resources

• Support allocation process and efficiency tracking of exclusive range offers

• Coordinate Marketing tasks of space management initiatives

• Balance brand and category message against channel specific requirements

• Ensure brand presence (global footprint) and sell-through at POS by connecting strategic account/channel plans with adidas Brand Marketing objectives

Requisite Education and Experience:

• Business administration or similar careers degree
• As manager of experts or sr analysts, al least 4 years management experience required
• Fluency in spoken english
• Advanced in Excel/Power Point/Power BI

Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:

Contribute to achieve agreed standard of operational quality on customs process. Ensure a compliant, timely and accurate management of Customs process and documents in the Netherlands.

• Support ongoing development of Customs process, procedures, internal controls, and analytics that will contribute to the ongoing compliance management to ensure legal requirements with Customs authorities are met.
• Use appropriate and effective communication methods to stakeholders to support management of external Brokers and customs compliance activities.
• Support the Customs Manager with management of customs authorizations and Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) status.
• Suggest potential improvements to enhance efficiency and control of processes.
• Engage in cross-functional collaboration and support with Europe Customs team members.
• Assist and support projects as defined by the Customs Manager in the Netherlands.
• Act as the first customs contact point for any customs topics related to imports in the Netherlands.
