Key Accountabilities:

  • Support and execute events across the Brand Experience business. This includes GTM, Employee, Consumer, Purpose and Retail.
  • Support creation of event briefs, event overviews, event recaps and workbacks.
  • Support creation and updating of Event PPT’s
  • Maintains and updates Event Calendar.
  • Maintains and updates rooming lists, transportation manifests, BEOs and other hospitality documents.
  • Orders, manages, and organizes promotional product for events.
  • PO creation, maintenance and updating of department budget tracker.
  • Invoice processing.
  • Creation of meeting agendas and recaps as requested.
  • Calendar management and scheduling.
  • Provide timely responses and follow up as needed. Escalate if guidance needs to be provided.
  • Act as event support for miscellaneous team requests.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

  • Good project management skills, oral communication, able to deliver clear, concise information tailored to specific (and potentially varied) target audiences.

Leads and manages a team of product developers to complete the footwear product creation process for the assigned business unit (BU).   • Support the Sourcing & Development organization to implement and develop the strategic BU direction and ensure cross-functional alignment within the Creation teams
  • Ensure achievement of OKR (Objectives & Key Results) set by the BU through partnership with Marketing and Design
  • Identify new business opportunities and drive key product and/or process innovations. Provide input to short-, mid- and long-term planning and budgeting
  • Work with adidas Innovation and Materials Development, and support research into new technologies and materials and communicate to Design and Marketing on potential new development options

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

  • University degree (BA/MA) in Marketing, Business Administration, Product Management, or related field.
  • 6–8 years of experience in Product Marketing or Category Management, specifically in Footwear.
  • Deep understanding of consumer behavior and segmentation across markets.
  • Familiarity with global retail environments, e-commerce, and omnichannel strategies.
  • Proven track record in leading product creation processes from concept to launch.
  • Fluent in English and Japanese (native level).
  • Digital fluency in Office 365 applications and product and marketing tools.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Support and execute events across the Brand Experience business. This includes GTM, Employee, Consumer, Purpose and Retail.
  • Support creation of event briefs, event overviews, event recaps and workbacks.
  • Support creation and updating of Event PPT’s
  • Maintains and updates Event Calendar.
  • Maintains and updates rooming lists, transportation manifests, BEOs and other hospitality documents.
  • Orders, manages, and organizes promotional product for events.
  • PO creation, maintenance and updating of department budget tracker.
  • Invoice processing.
  • Creation of meeting agendas and recaps as requested.
  • Calendar management and scheduling.
  • Provide timely responses and follow up as needed. Escalate if guidance needs to be provided.
  • Act as event support for miscellaneous team requests.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

  • Good project management skills, oral communication, able to deliver clear, concise information tailored to specific (and potentially varied) target audiences.
  • Knowledge of entry level meeting planning skills (hotel contracts, room sets, catering, production, AV, etc)
  • Ability to maintain a professional attitude in fast paced, changing environments.
  • Ability to take direction and flag when clarity and/or assistance is needed.
  • Ability to cope with change and be flexible.
  • Ability to effectively communicate to all levels within the organization.
  • Knowledge of industry-standard software, including the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint and Word) .
  • Ability to travel by aircraft domestically as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Four-year College or university degree, emphasis in marketing or communications preferred.
  • Minimum 1 year meeting planning or event marketing experience (or related field).
  • Equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be substituted for degree.
