As a Sr Software Development Engineer on Redshift Builder Experience you will lead architecture and development of infrastructure services at the intersection of developer tooling, scaled test frameworks, and distributed systems to improve the pace of innovation and delivery for Redshift organization. You will meticulously review and drive design choices, trade-offs, priorities and timelines. As a hands-on practitioner you will lead by example and mentor and inspire other engineers and leaders, participate in defining our engineering culture, and help to build a fast growing and highly motivated team. You are data and metric driven, and obsessively concerned about performance within resource constrained environments. An ideal candidate would obsess over customer needs, operational excellence, evaluate system performance, security, design system metrics and driving quality improvements.East Palo Alto, CA, USA

- 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience
- 5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team

- 5+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
