Key Qualifications
- In-depth knowledge of wireless communication systems (OFDM/MIMO, etc.) physical layer algorithm design and validation.
- Understanding of 5G-NR or LTE standards: PHY and RF specifications.
- Experience with Matlab, C/C++ and/or Python for algorithm development, modeling (floating-point and fixed-point) and link-level simulation.
- Experience with 4G/5G PHY FW design is a plus as well as experience in chip bring-up including the use of lab equipment such as protocol test equipment, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, power meters, etc.
- Understanding of related algorithms design (such as timing recovery, signal estimation and detection, automatic gain control, RF impairment estimation and correction, estimation, etc.), is a plus.
- Ability to understand performance impact under external restrictions such as coexistence issues is a plus.
Education & Experience
BS with 10+ years of relevant experiences.
Pay & Benefits
- At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $170,700.00 and $300,200.00, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Note: Apple benefit, compensation and employee stock programs are subject to eligibility requirements and other terms of the applicable plan or program.
