Senior Software Engineer’s task involves, but not limited to, design, develop, integrate, test,, and debug software across multiple layers of the stack including firmware, drivers, operating systems, middleware, frameworks,and applications/UI. As part of this process the software engineer collaborates with architects and engineers, across cross-functional teams, to deliver an OS Vendor consumable solution for Intel technology adoption.

Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position.
- Master'sdegree with 5+ years' experience in computer science, Computer Engineering, Electronics Electrical Engineering or Software Engineering or any other related field.
- Experienced with developing Operating System software leveraging opensource technologies and languages.
- Experienced with source control (e.g.git) to integrate software in various stages of development (e.g.backport, debug)
- Self-Starter with growth-oriented mindset who is interested in learningnew technologiesand making them usable.
- Ability to work and navigate across multiple organizations within Intel and external partners.
- Experienceto analyzecomplex systems and data,provideinsights anddrivesolution.
- Excellent problem solving and communication skills with stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
- Experience contributing to Linux vendor products (e.g RHEL, SLES, Ubuntu) and/or working with associated Open-Source Linux communities (e.g Fedora, Debian, etc.)
- Experience with building and packaging software for downstream use.
- Flexibility working with a wide range of programming languages such as C, C++, Python, or Go, etc.
- Familiar with CI/CD flows for systems (github, gitlab, Jenkins, etc) and modern QA practices/infrastructure.
- Experience working with and debugging unstable hardware, identify system level issues (firmware, hardware or OS).
- Experience working on containerized environment like Docker/Kubernetes.
