What you'll do

• Your duties and responsibilities will encompass:
• Analyzing business requirements and translating them into functional technical solutions.
• Implementing complex changes incorporating customization and custom code.
• Actively participating in our agile delivery by processing backlog items.
• Conducting and supporting functional, regression and integration testing.
• This also involves automating the testing process to ensure end-to-end process and data consistency.
• Efficiently managing incidents and problems while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
• Your involvement may extend to deescalation activities upon request. Diligently maintaining appropriate documentation.
• Carrying out technical feasibility studies and solution reviews.
• Tracking system customizations to encourage the use of standard features as and when available, supporting our 'return to standard' culture.
• This role requires an innovative thinker who can pro-actively contribute to improve our IT processes and drive our end-to-end user experience forward

What you bring:

As an IT Technology Services Specialist, you must be adept at applying expertise and technology to deliver results that meet customer expectations. This requires stellar interpersonal skills to efficiently work with a diverse team. You should possess strong ABAP skills, including debugging, and have a proficient knowledge in HANA, UI5, Fiori, and SQL. HTML5, JavaScript and ITIL skills will be viewed favorably. Past experiences with Agile Methods/Kanban are highly desirable. Lastly, a willingness to acquire further technical knowledge and proficiency with tools for design, configuration, extensions, integration, and operations is vital.
