Job Description:
This position is responsible for managing the development, implementation and ongoing evaluationof pricing structures
Key ResponsibilitiesDirect efforts to prepare quarterly price performance results to inform and influence business decisions of senior management.
Preparation of meaningful quantitative and qualitative analysis in support ofstrategic pricing proposalsand reporting.
Direct the acquisition, retention and development of key human resources.
Create, implement, andmanage pricing systemsand analytical tools requiredfor pricing proposalefforts including unique strategies or options to be both competitive and profitable.
Developsophisticated pricing modelsfor use across all revenue deals (new, expansions and renewals) models would incorporate client business case,alternative pricing schemes,and Broadcom Mainframe costs.
Partner with Business Units, Sales/Marketing, Business Development and Finance to correctly position product portfolio andestablish pricing programsaligned with product/sales strategy and revenue recognition requirements
Adapt goals for staff Based On changes in Broadcom Mainframe strategy. Ensure change initiatives are planned and executed in alignment with the desired business outcomes.
Technical Leadership. Internally recognized as a technical or business contributor. Possesses and applies a comprehensive knowledge of multiple fields of technologies to complete significant and complex assignments. Works on complex technical projects or unique business issues requiring state of the art technical knowledge or where analysis of situations or data requires an evaluation of intangibles. Known in the department/group as the ‘knowledge base’ of information. May be the in-house expert on specific technologies. May act in a liaison capacity with other organizations. Evaluates progress and results, and recommends major changes in procedures to accomplish tasks. Plans and conducts assignments, and may lead or direct assignments that are generally larger and more important projects, or works on multiple projects at one time. Well-developed leadership qualities enabling mentoring of others. Often contributes to and assists with the review and evaluation of personnel performance.

Physical demands:
Office environment. No special physical demands required.
Bachelor's degree or global equivalent in a related field. MBA preferred
Work ExperienceTypically 5+ or more years of related professional experiencein pricing strategyand price setting preferred
Strong managerial, strategic and critical thinking abilities
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Ability to influence business partners without direct authority up, across and down the organization
Expert in a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
Rely on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
Thorough understanding of Broadcom's Mainframe business applications and internal organization
Strong negotiation skills and the ability to persuade others as appropriate
Strong knowledge in the software and hardware industry
Compensation and Benefits
The annual base salary range for this position is $78,000 - $130,000
This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus in accordance with relevant plan documents, and equity in accordance with equity plan documents and equity award agreements.
