Broadcom Mainframe Business Specialist - Pricing Advisor

Job Description:

This position is responsible for managing the development, implementation and ongoing evaluationof pricing structures

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct efforts to prepare quarterly price performance results to inform and influence business decisions of senior management.

  • Preparation of meaningful quantitative and qualitative analysis in support ofstrategic pricing proposalsand reporting.

  • Direct the acquisition, retention and development of key human resources.

  • Create, implement, andmanage pricing systemsand analytical tools requiredfor pricing proposalefforts including unique strategies or options to be both competitive and profitable.

  • Developsophisticated pricing modelsfor use across all revenue deals (new, expansions and renewals) models would incorporate client business case,alternative pricing schemes,and Broadcom Mainframe costs.

  • Partner with Business Units, Sales/Marketing, Business Development and Finance to correctly position product portfolio andestablish pricing programsaligned with product/sales strategy and revenue recognition requirements

  • Adapt goals for staff Based On changes in Broadcom Mainframe strategy. Ensure change initiatives are planned and executed in alignment with the desired business outcomes.

Plans and conducts assignments, and may lead or direct assignments that are generally larger and more important projects, or works on multiple projects at one time. Well-developed leadership qualities enabling mentoring of others. Often contributes to and assists with the review and evaluation of personnel performance.

  • Generally works without consulting their manager.

    • Decisions on staff retention and development

    • Decisions on discounting or special terms related to complex transaction

    • Decisions regarding the price or license structure of Broadcom Mainframe products

  • Typically has no direct reports.

  • Typically has no total staff.

  • Typically has a global geographic focus.

  • Typically does not manage a budget.

Physical demands:

  • Office environment. No special physical demands required.

Preferred Education

Bachelor's degree or global equivalent in a related field. MBA preferred

Work Experience

Typically 5+ or more years of related professional experiencein pricing strategyand price setting preferred

Compensation and Benefits

The annual base salary range for this position is $78,000 - $130,000

This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus in accordance with relevant plan documents, and equity in accordance with equity plan documents and equity award agreements.
