Design technical architecture to address business requirements, including the design of hardware, software and messaging system configurations, as appropriate. Develop relationships across the business to understand requirements, apply deep technical knowledge of product or capability to solve business problems and work closely with development teams to oversee implementation. Provide innovative and practical designs for the design and integration of new and existing systems, applying advanced technical capabilities. Provide technical expertise to maximize value from new and existing IT products and solutions and work on tool evaluation efforts including the definition of evaluation criteria, tool identification and the actual evaluation. Guide others in resolving complex issues in technical architecture, and contribute to project management activities, such as providing estimates for tasks. Work across multidisciplinary teams and with the business to deliver simple and easy to use systems that meet user needs and gains stakeholder buy-in. Provide coaching and support to development teams during blueprinting and implementation phases. Review and develop due diligence to confirm the developed solution complies with architectural design. Contribute to development standards to promote optimization and consistency (including code modularization and reuse).

Full time employment, Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week, 8:30 am – 5:30 pm.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Must have a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Economics, Engineering, Information Technology, Mathematics or a related field and 10 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate related work experience. Alternatively, will accept a master’s degree in Computer Science, Economics, Engineering, Information Technology, Mathematics or a related field and 8 years of related work experience.Must have 6 years of experience developing new technical architecture components and contributing to development standards to promote optimization and consistency, including code modularization and reuse.Must have 6 years of experience applying technical architecture in a business context, gaining non-technical stakeholder buy-in and delivering easy to use systems that meet user needs.Must have 6 years of experience reviewing and developing due diligence to confirm solutions comply with architectural designs.Must have 6 years of experience providing support to development teams during blueprinting and implementation phases.Must have 4 years of experience owning the design of major or large components of applications or software architecture.Must have 4 years of experience designing, developing and supporting Big Data solutions for Operational, Analytical and AI/ML workloads using industry standard tools/platforms, including one or a combination of the following: Hadoop, Spark/Databricks, Snowflake, and/or Microsoft Azure Synapse and/or Power BI/Platform.Must have 2 years of proven experience in Micro-Services based architecture design and implementation using CNCF affiliated technologies/platforms.Must have 2 years of experience supervising technical architects and/or developers and providing performance feedback.Must have 2 years of experience in enterprise-grade cloud-native design patterns in one or a combination of the following: Azure, AWS, GCP, CNCF CISSIP, Pivotal, and/or TOGAF.Domestic travel may be required up to 50%.Employer will accept any suitable combination of education, training or experience.
