Key Qualifications
  • Experience in developing test and debug infrastructure for characterization and debug of real wireless silicon in a lab.
  • Experience developing test automation including equipment drivers, debug tools, automation scripts, database interfaces, and reporting tools.
  • Experience automating measurements on wireless test equipment such as signal analyzer, signal generator, and spectrum analyzer.
  • Basic Knowledge in existing wireless communication protocols: 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax/be, LTE/WCDMA/GSM, or 802.11ad/ay and key Tx/Rx metrics like EVM and sensitivity.
  • Strong Experience with Python, Matlab, Perl, Javascript, C/C++, or C#
Description
In this individual technical contributor role you will be responsible for automation development of state-of-the-art wireless SoC products. You will develop the software infrastructure at the center of a silicon design group including the framework for bringup, validation, characterization, regression, and reporting. This will including designing and implementing a Python based bringup framework, the regression/validation tools, and the reporting/analysis engine. As an owner of the silicon performance infrastructure you will be key in making sure Apple products exceed expectations.
Education & Experience
Minimum qualification is BS+ 10 years of relevant experience. MS or PHD preferred.

  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $161,700.00 and $284,900.00, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Note: Apple benefit, compensation and employee stock programs are subject to eligibility requirements and other terms of the applicable plan or program.
