mission of thelab is to expand the pareto frontier ofArtificial Intelligence (AI), efficiency, and safety through innovations in foundation models and learning agent platforms.Some of our projects includeon Small Language Models (Phi, Orca) and Multi-Agent AI (

lead efforts onthe advancement ofGenerative AI andLarge Language Models (LLMs) technolog. As aPrincipal Researcher – Generative AI,you will play a crucial role indeveloping, improving, and exploring the capabilities ofGenerative AI modelstechnologies, advancingandproviding practical solutions to real-world problems.

Our ongoing research areas encompass but are not limited to:

• Pre-training: especiallyof small language and multimodal models
• Alignment andPost-training:e.g.,Instruction tuning and reinforcement learning from feedback
• Continual Learning: Enabling LLMs to evolve and adapt over time and learn frompreviousexperiences human interactions
• Specialization: Tailoring LLMs to meet application-specific requirements
• Orchestration and multi-agent systems: automated orchestration between multiple agents incorporating human feedback and oversight

Required Qualifications

• Doctorate in Computer Science or relevant fieldAND 3+ years related research experience
• OR equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Doctorate inin Computer Scienceor relevant fieldAND 5+ years related research experience

• Experience publishing academic papers as a lead author or essential contributor in the field of Artificial Intelligence.
• Experienceparticipatingin a top conference in relevant research domain.
• Demonstrable ability to define an ambitious, original research agenda.
• Ability to collaborate, communicate effectively, andtechnically leadmulti-disciplinary team.
• Keen interest in real-world applications and impact.
