The Strategy Counsel Regional Alphabet Regulatory Response Role is a key position in the tech industry specialized in facilitating responses to governmental regulations. Strategy Counsel must be able to gather information from multiple sources, quickly process and interpret the legal language, and provide counsel on the most effective strategies. They must have a solid understanding of the financial context of their company’s strategic objectives and the governmental regulations that can conflict with these objectives. Strategy Counsel works on a regional level, which means they must understand the impact of changing regulations in their region. Additionally, they may be asked to collaborate with global affiliates of their company,working to ensure that all parties are compliant in different regions.
