The Quantitative UX Researcher at Google Cloud is a rare and exciting role; combining user experience (UX) design with quantitative methods such as analytical techniques and statistical analysis to help shape the product decisions within the company. This role works closely with product managers, designers, engineers, and researchers to collaborate on solutions to user-centered problems. The Quantitative UX Researcher possesses a deep understanding of qualitative and quantitative research, as well as an understanding of design Thinking and user-centric design.
The Quantitative UX Researcher at Google Cloud role requires an individual with a comprehensive and extensive knowledge of digital product design, user research, analytics, and Google Cloud Platforms. This person must have a passion to develop and deliver delightful and effective user experiences across all Google Cloud products. Strong expertise using quantitative methods to measure user interactions and behaviors, including A/B testing, user surveys and interviews, and analytics such as cohort analysis will be key.
The Quantitative UX Researcher at Google Cloud will be focused on designing and conducting user research to identify user needs and to inform product designs. It’s expected that the researcher will be able to draw upon deep insights from their research to better inform product and design decisions. This role will require an aptitude to extract meaning and trends from quantitative data, and to distill it into intuitive and impactful insights that will inform the design decisions.
