QA Testers, also known as Quality Assurance Testers, are responsible for testing and verifying that software products and applications function as intended and meet specified quality standards. They work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand the requirements and design and execute test cases to identify and report bugs and defects. They also verify that the final product is free of defects before it is released to the customer. QA Testers use a variety of testing methodologies including manual testing, automated testing, and performance testing to ensure that the product is fully functional and meets the needs of the user. They also create and maintain testing documentation, such as test plans and test cases, and use test management tools to track and report on the progress of testing. They also play a key role in identifying and mitigating risks associated with the product. In short, QA Testers play a critical role in ensuring the overall quality and reliability of a product. They are responsible for testing and validating the product to ensure that it meets the desired specifications and standards and is free of defects before it is released to the customer.
