Are you an IT security professional, who is passionate about keeping networks and data secure? If so, you should consider becoming a penetration tester. Penetration testers, who are also known as ethical hackers, are responsible for ensuring the security of a system or network by purposely attacking it to locate, identify, and fix potential vulnerabilities and security problems.
At Expoint, we are actively seeking individuals who possess the skills and knowledge necessary for becoming successful penetration testers. To excel in this role, you should have a good understanding of computer systems, networks, and cyber security in general. You will also need to be familiar with offensive security testing techniques, as well as the security measures and countermeasures used to protect systems and networks.
As a penetration tester, you will be tasked with simulating real cyber attacks to identify security flaws and weaknesses. You will be expected to think like a hacker and use the same techniques and tools to locate vulnerabilities within a system or network. You will also be responsible for recommending solutions or fixes to address any weaknesses you have found.
Your technical expertise, combined with strong problem solving and communication skills, will make you an especially valuable asset at Expoint. You will have the chance to work with top clients, while using some of the newest and most advanced security test tools and techniques. This is an exciting and dynamic opportunity that will provide you with the opportunity to hone your skills as a security professional and make a real difference in the security of many different networks and systems.
