Are you an experienced and organized professional who specializes in payroll? Expoint is currently seeking an experienced payroll specialist to manage and track payrolls and taxes. In this role, you will be in charge of managing payrolls, ensuring accuracy and timeliness, and performing calculations for taxes and deductions. You will also be responsible for updating payroll records, reviewing and resolving discrepancies, preparing payroll reports, and developing processes to streamline administrative processes. Additionally, you will work to ensure that payroll activities are compliant with government regulations, such as filing for taxes and handling labor standards. Daily tasks may include processing employee timecards, calculating taxes and deductions, performing reconciliations, resolving discrepancies, preparing payroll reports, double-checking data accuracy and compliance issues, and staying current on changes in federal, state, and local tax laws. The ideal candidate for this position should possess excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues quickly and accurately.
