Network Analyst jobs

A Network Analyst is responsible for the maintenance, analysis, and monitoring of computer networks. In this role you will use a variety of tools and technologies to assess the performance and security of a network and troubleshoot any network related problems that arise. You need to be proficient in troubleshooting and diagnosing hardware, software and network connectivity problems. You must have excellent communication skills as you will assist clients with their network questions and concerns. Keeping accurate records of network usage and performance, as well as configurations, is very important. You must have an aptitude for learning and adapting to new and innovative technologies. To be successful in this role, you must have experience coding and scripting and have an understanding of the organization's infrastructure, which includes the organization's across multiple locations. You must have a strong understanding of system security concepts and technological advancements in the use of network infrastructures. Responsibilities include monitoring network performance and utilization, installing, troubleshooting and configuring network hardware and software, visitor network access, network security enforcement and implementation, creating and updating network documentation, managing team tasks and providing technical troubleshooting when issues arise.
