This position may require standing for extended periods of time, walking, working in tight spaces, bending, squatting, twisting, kneeling, reaching, lifting, the ability to distinguish between colors, the ability to work in an environment with noise that may be difficult for some individuals with sensitivity to noise, and the use of hand and power tools. Additionally, because this position also may involve working in a clean room, the use of appropriate Personal Protective Equipment such as coveralls, hoods, booties, safety glasses, gloves, respirators, chemical aprons, and face shields may be required.

Strategic Planning & Development
Design and manage end-to-end customer samples plans and activities for specific products or product groups
Develop, document, and implement standardized sampling procedures and methodologies
Identify and establish critical quality control checkpoints throughout sampling processes
Stakeholder Management & Communication
Act as primary interface with internal stakeholders and leadership across all project phases
Participate in management review committees and strategic decision forums
Own all customer communications related to sampling programs
Cross-Functional Coordination
Manage interdependencies and communicate sampling plans to business partners
Collaborate with Product Development Teams (PDTs) and Management Review Committees (MRCs)
Coordinate with quality assurance teams to ensure sampling integrity
Data-Driven Decision Making
Apply advanced data analytics and business intelligence to optimize sample allocation
Make complex allocation decisions balancing division priorities with constrained supply
Utilize experiential data to improve sampling efficiency and customer satisfaction
Assess program risks and develop mitigation strategies to meet timeline and quality objectives
Behavioral Traits
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management or similar field
4+ years of relevant experience in supply chain, product planning, or related field
Experience with manufacturing processes, supply chain management
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Power BI dashboarding and advanced Microsoft Excel functionality
Experience with Intel-specific tools including:

SPEED/IDET
ISM (Intel Sample Management)
Data analytics and business intelligence experience

The Associate Director, Global Procurement will oversee an annual external manufacturing spend portfolio of approximately $50–100 million, driving value through strategic sourcing, supplier negotiations, and cost optimization initiatives. This role focuses on total cost of ownership (TCO) optimization, year-over-year cost reduction, and establishing best-in-class commercial agreements that enhance Teva’s global procurement performance. The role requires a strong analytical mindset, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to influence senior stakeholders and suppliers. You will be part of a high-performing team driving strategic procurement initiatives across Teva’s External Manufacturing (ExM) network in North America.
Knowledge and skills:
The annual starting salary for this position is between $124,720 – 156,000 annually. Factors which may affect starting salary within this range and level of role may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
