Junior Network Engineer jobs

The Network Engineer role at Expoint is a great opportunity for ambitious IT professionals. Our innovative platform is growing fast, and the Network Engineer plays a key part in ensuring smooth operations. As a Network Engineer, you will be responsible for providing essential network services including authentication, network address translation, virtual LANs, and VPN services. You'll also be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting hardware and software which helps to keep our network running smoothly and securely. Your technical skills will be put to the test as you configure, monitor, and maintain the performance and security of our wireless, routing and switching technologies. You will also be required to troubleshoot problems in a timely manner, analyze and monitor system performance, and ensure that our network is optimally configured and running. Although no two days will be the same, your daily job duties may include designing and implementing secure networks, maintaining uptime availability, optimizing network performance, and providing technical supports. You should also have a thorough understanding of network security measures as well as good communication skills. To excel in this role, you should have experience in server and system administration, including a basic understanding of related hardware and software technologies. A degree in Computer Science or any related field is an advantage, although not required.
