The Investment Accountant responsibilities include preparing and analyzing financial statements, performing cash flow projections, reconciling the balance sheet, creating business plans, and assisting with clients’ investments and asset management activities. This role requires an individual with a keen eye for detail, advanced knowledge of accounting concepts, and prior experience in an accounting role. Your primary objective is to provide advisory services that support investment decisions and asset performance. You will report to the Principal Accountant and will work with a team of investment analysts, client managers, financial advisors, and business consultants. Working with this team, you will help ensure the accuracy of the financial statements and ensure the clients' funds are invested according to their goals and risk preferences. You have an excellent eye for detail and understand the importance of accuracy. Research and analysis plays an important role in your job. You feel comfortable working with large numbers and are committed to meeting deadlines. You need an understanding of accounting principles, financial statement analysis, and investment planning.
