About the role:

Forter is actively seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Accountant to become a key member of its Accounting team. This crucial role involves managing general accounting operations and providing essential support for the month-end and quarterly financial close processes. What you’ll be doing:

  • Full ownership of the ASC 606 commission accounting, including capitalization, amortization, and impairment analysis of sales commissions, ensuring compliance and accurate expense recognition.
  • Collaborate with external auditors during the annual audit, providing necessary documentation and support related to payroll, commissions, and other key accounts.
  • Drive and participate in continuous improvement initiatives, identifying and implementing process efficiencies and automation through leveraging AI and technology.

What you’ll need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA is a plus.
