As an EHS Specialist, you will be responsible for identifying and assessing potential safety hazards and environmental risks when necessary. Additionally, you will plan, implement, and monitor safety rules, regulations, protocols, and procedures throughout the workplaces. You will proactively collaborate with individuals and stakeholders, including conducting safety audits and inspections, while also ensuring compliance with safety-related regulations and standards. Your on-site investigations will provide you with the opportunity to observe areas in order to identify improvement opportunities and give agents the feedback necessary to solicit corrective action. Additionally, as an EHS Specialist, you’ll be responsible for developing and managing risk control programs. You’ll need an understanding of the elements of an effective safety and health program, as well as the ability to create processes and protocols to ensure these programs are successful and safe. Lastly, you’ll need to keep abreast of the latest safety regulations to provide Workers with advice and recommendations in order to reduce risks.
