Essential Responsibilities:

• Develop and optimize machine learning models for various applications.

Expected Qualifications:

Key Responsibilities:

• Research and develop large-scale foundation models, including continuous pre-training, supervised fine-tuning, and alignment techniques

• Design novel architectures and training methodologies for domain-specific language models in financial services

• Build scalable ML pipelines for foundation model training, evaluation, and deployment at enterprise scale

• Conduct rigorous experimentation and benchmarking to ensure model quality, safety, and performance

• Deploy foundation models into production environments to drive business insights and enhance customer experiences

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify high-impact use cases and translate research into practical solutions

• Stay current with latest developments in LLM and LLM-Agent research and contribute to the broader AI/ML community through publications and open-source contributions

• Mentor junior researchers and contribute to technical strategy for foundation model initiatives

Preferred Qualifications:

• PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, AI, or related field with focus on large language models and LLM Agent

• 1-3+ years of hands-on experience training and deploying large-scale language models (7B+ parameters)

• Deep expertise in transformer architectures, attention mechanisms, and modern training techniques

• Experience with distributed training frameworks (PyTorch, JAX, DeepSpeed, etc.)

• Strong background in NLP, deep learning, and statistical machine learning

• Proven track record of research publications in top-tier venues (NeurIPS, ICML, ACL, etc.)

You’ll be exposed to all aspects of hardware and systems engineering working closely with firmware, mechanical, power and thermal engineers. You will:

• Author and coordinate the creation of design guides and specifications for new designs as well as drive architectural direction for next generation devices/platforms and ensure feasibility of concepts for these products
• Work closely with Original Design Manufacturer (ODM)/Joint Design Manufacturer (JDM) partner to execute a design against the specified architecture, review the design and validation results
• Set standards and determine design targets for the product (cost, performance, reliability, etc.) are feasible through proper design choices, component selection and/or supplier selection
• Collaborate across all disciplines (hardware, software, mechanical, manufacturing, procurement, etc.) to ensure product requirements are being implemented to meet program goals
• Possess excellent communication skills to discuss requirements and provide technology updates to multiple Dell Technologies product groups and development teams

Essential Requirements:

• Proficiency in hardware design, analysis and debugging of complex printed circuit boards along with an understanding of the power, mechanical and thermal infrastructure around them
• Experience in computer architecture and designing with high-speed Interfaces such as Peripheral Component Interconnect Express (PCIe), Double Data Rate (DDR) and Ethernet
• Strong background in electrical or computer engineering and a solid understanding of server architecture
• Experience leading cross-functional engineering teams

Desirable Requirements:
